Teddy KGB wrote:OK so the final deal would be:

We swap franchise player draft picks [I trade #6 to you for #9]
We swap picks in 03 [I trade #9 to you for #1]
We swap draft picks in 06 [I trade #1 to you for #4]
We swap draft picks in 98 [I trade #6 to you for #11]

??

I accept this deal.

Yes, granted I get Roy. We have to wait until all picks are made before we can trade though, which kind of freaks me out.

Unless Cellar is willing to let us trade prior, since we are just sitting here and waiting anyways.

And to Mascot and Cellar, can we just do the deal as is now? I mean, I see no harm in dealing these draft picks as they stand. We're both agreeing that this is a fair draft pick swap... so can someone please confirm if this deal is to be allowed?

I have no problem with the pick swap, i just noted that it was written in the first post of the game rules.

Just in case anyone hasn't seen it, because I almost missed it, the draft thread is up.

And let's put the draft threads'(or other related to this game) links here from now on, so we won't miss them.

Also, unless I missed something, we're doing it so that it's the players as of right now and if they were healthy right? i.e. would Yao Ming be a good pick or not lol

EDIT: Also, I might not have internet for the next 24 hours so I sent my draft board to Vintage [VINTAGE@yahoo.com right?]

Important note: all players are being considered based off of their regular seasons this year. This means players like Yao Ming are still a good pick. TMac isn't a bad pick, but his stats are greatly reduced from years past.

This is arbitrary, but lets say...anyone who played over 20 games in the regular season is eligible.

Cellar, if denied does not pick Brandon Roy, will mine and Blazer's trade be allowed to go through? Or are you sticking with not allowing trades?

I don't especially mind either way, it's just that my pick is right about to come up and I need to know whether it's my pick any more.

Honestly? as long as the trades are even on both sides in terms of numbers and no one has any objections to the trades, I'm fine with it.

So can we consider the trade as "passed" as long as Roy is not picked with the next pick by deNied?

EDIT: Basically, who will be picking 6th here, me or cd blazer?

I have a feeling you guys will be safe. There's at least two guys I'm sure he'd gladly take before Roy.

I'd be more worried for the game's sake if someone wanted Roy at 5...

Interesting top 7. From CP to the next pick there's a bit of a drop, so things should open up a lot now.

IMO Duncan is overrated nowadays. I saw him against Dallas, he is not the single-handed gamechanger he once was.
