Also,

Orlando and La Have agreed to this deal.

Matt Barnes

for

My TPE and 2013 first round draft pick(LAL)

we do this to add a SG to our bench. We love our team now, and hope to add a quaility center in free agency to put the icing on the cake.

and yes Orlando agrees to the mega 4 team trade for a few reasons
1. we wanted to trade Shard and really needed a SG, we add JRich (shorter deal) and SJAX(cheaper)
we love both players and JAX defense and determination will fit in great with this team.
2. Fish is a solid PG who we plan to resign this offseason, and law well who knows if he will ever live up to his draft number
3. We wanted to say yes to shut up LA and go to bed! (inside joke that the other 3 teams will agree with)
4. adding 2 2nd rounders will really help with trades and filling out the roster next year.

if the mega 4 way deal gets approved (this is contingent), Orlando agrees

We like Barnes (and his contract) but it was needed for LA, I think he will fill the role of the 18th man on his roster, but he really wanted him, and I want to get down to 15, so needed to move a body or 2, this adds a future pick for when the LA dream team is old and retired, so it may be a lottery pick!

Forgot my explanation as well -- We essentially swap Marvin and Teague in exchange for Bass and Ellis, and figured Teague would be expendable with the addition of Chalmers as well. Also in this deal, we dump Peja, and Pachulia for expiring contracts, and closer to the level of cap flexibility we'd like. Again we're not banking on 2010, but we like the flexibility. Here we keep most of our core, and are essentially one small trade away from having that flexibility we seek.

Memphis accepts the deal with Denver.

We were looking for a PF-C who could help contribute now and Nene fits the bill nicely. We like the idea of Thabeet, but we're not sure when he'll be able to contribute.

In exchange, the Heat receive Nate Robinson ($3,551,994), Chris Hunter ($736,420), and Joe Crawford ($736,420). Miami Incoming: $5,024,834. Deal works for Miami

The Knicks trade Nate Robinson (1,775,997), Chris Hunter ($736,420), and Joe Crawford ($736,420). Total Outgoing: $3,248,837 X 1.25 = $4,061,046 + 100,000 = $4,161,046. In exchange the Knicks receive Maurice Evans ($2,500,000), Kevin Ollie ($825,497), and Mario Chalmers ($756,000). Knicks Incoming: 4,081,497, thus the Knicks outgoing is greater than the Heat's outgoing.

Trade Works. Knicks accept, we like Chalmers.

Miami accepts.

Adding Nate Robinson to the flashy line-up of Miami helps, he and Jason Terry would make a nice 1-2 punch off the bench if A.I, Wade, or any of my main guys have off nights. We loved Chalmers, and his D, but he is too inconsistent, and doesn't pass much around. We gain Nate's attractivity (if such word exists) to add to the ticket sales and please D-Wade more because we are adding talent, and he already insisted to Pat Riley in real life that Riley should forget about 2010 and build a solid roster - and I feel I'm headed toward that direction, and I also feel that it's the right path.

once the mega deal is done, Orlando is agreeing to another deal

Orlando is sending Jason Williams $825,497 and LAC's 2014 2nd
to Miami for
TPE and Miami's 2010 2nd

Orlando now has alot of PG's and JWill is the odd man out, plus we want to get down to 15. Adding a 2010 2nd (could be late) will be more usefull then the 2014 pick

The Miami Heat accepts.

Adding J-Will will please D-Wade more since despite his short tenure here, J-Will and D-Wade built great chemistry and bond off the court. We also are currently in short of players, and we could use a true PG who can distribute the ball. We also like our chances and are confident that the 2nd won't be high.

Outgoing Salary: 8,154,840

Memphis remains under the cap, so the 125% rule is not invoked.

Denver accepts. Tough to let go of a player who was a part of the teams success this year, but we felt we could not pass the opportunity to acquire another great big man prospect to pair with Bargnani. We have the makings of a young core that will be together for a long time, and Billups's stabilizing influence will ensure the team remains competitive in the here and now as well.

There is a $474.000 cap hold for each empty roster spot under 12 so if my math is correct that would put Memphis at $58,166,938 which is over the cap.

New to this sorry

I dont take any salary past 2011 (have ridiculous amount of cap room then to go for durant, melo, etc) and aquire some good young pieces in Williams (who has a great contract that declines) and teague (who im pretty high on as a future 6th man of the year)

so accepted :D

I get 57.69 million even with two cap holds.

Checked it twice. Makes it in by the skin of its teeth.

This is one reason why it is preferred that any player not on the roster but still getting loot is listed after all the other players with an empty line between them and players that actually are on the roster.

Cuts down possible confusion.
