After midnight EST there is still a 24-hour period for people to send in FA requests to fill out their rosters. Let it be known that this is silent auction style. You can ask me what the offers are on the players you want to raise your offer, but otherwise, players are going to go to certain places with the best offer. I really wanted to run this a different way when I started the game, with the highest bid amount displayed, but it's just not practical for me at this time. Let it be known that the following players have been offered the maximum for the next season:

C Anthony
Nene
J Green
M Gasol
Z Randolph

I'll be honest, 4 of 5 of these are ridiculous. But I'm not in a position to let Nene go. Revised offer will be with you shortly.

We should open a discussion on this kinda thing happening in FA, and how it can be managed in future games.

Not much you can do about how teams spend their money in FA, is there? It is what is it.

The Los Angeles Clippers have 2 Free Agent signings to announce

1. We retain our Small Forward and great fit/glue guy... Wilson Chandler. We are excited to have him back and locked in long term as we love what he brings to our team. His defense and other great attributes will be a key to our success both now and in the future.

Welcome back Wilson!

this games flat out ruined... what a bloody waste of time. I mean the game is fun... there isnt much realness to it but its still fun. But now FA has just completely ruined it. I wonder how on earth I am going to get the number of hours of my life i wasted playing this game back! We need to fix FA when we make a new game

Again, you can't control how teams spend their cap. How would you suggest we fix it?

Everybody's a poser.

If you signed an RFA, the team with their rights has until tomorrow midnight to match.

Utah wishes Andrei the best, we're shocked that he got so much money. Utah has moved on though and has sent offers into the two best free agents of this years class.....

ATL has a big time signing to announce.

Image

Nenad Kristic - $3,000,000/$3,000,000/$3,000,000/$3,000,000/$3,000,000 (PO). 13/5 in BOS on pretty good defense and range on the jimmy, we like what Kristic brings to our team.

The New York Knicks and Kendrick Perkins have agreed to a contract worth $74,898,946 over 5 years. We're very excited to add Perkins to our team. We paid a lot here, but we feel like Perkins is worth it, as centers are a premium in this league and he is one of the league's best post defenders. He also allows Al Horford to play the 4 position for us full time, where we think he can be much more effective. Our starting lineup will consist of Kyle Lowry, Tyreke Evans, Danilo Gallinari, Al Horford, Kendrick Perkins and Jameer Nelson and Derrick Favors as our key bench guys. The team's future looks very, very bright and we think we can compete now as well. Terms of the contract are as followed.

Year 1 - $12,000,000
Year 2 - $13,333,333
Year 3 - $14,814,814
Year 4 - $16,460,905
Year 5 - $18,289,894

ATL have another big time signing to announce. Half man, half amazing...

Image

Vince Carter - $2,500,000/$2,500,000/$2,500,000/$2,500,000/$2,500,000 (PO). 15/4 on 40% from 3 (2 makes per game), Carter is having a good year. Hopefully being the 4th banana on this squad motivates him enough to do his thing.
