The Bucks waive the cap holds of Michael Redd, Earl Boykins, Chris Douglas-Roberts.
We'll use the Rashard Lewis clause on Drew Gooden.
We will also release the non-guaranteed/partially guaranteed contracts of Carlos Delfino and Ersan Ilyasova, making them FAs.

C - Andrew Bogut
PF - Larry Sanders / Jon Brockman
SF - Stephen Jackson / Tobias Harris
SG - Beno Udrih / Keyon Dooling
PG - Brandon Jennings / Shaun Livingston

I'm rebuilding, so my 1sts probably won't be traded. Everyone's available. I want to move Bogut for a very good young player, a player I can build my team around.

NJ uses the Rashard Lewis clause on Travis Outlaw

Everyone is available, even Deron and Lopez. Not sure if I'm gonna compete now or rebuild, so make any offer.

Dallas currently unsure on whether to use the RL clause... am I right in thinking I can't re-sign TC and CB if it means I go over $80m?

When do I have to make my decision on player releases by?

In terms of my goal... just want to extend the window. Everyone but Dirk is available in the right deal.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Cleveland will waive the cap hold of Anthony Parker.

We are looking to add more young assets. Would like to trade any of Sessions, Jamison, Varejao, Gibson for a young, starting caliber player.

Okl is in win now mode.
Harden and Westbrook, Perkins, on the move. Would like a top PF
Durant won't be traded, Ibaka if a superstar could be had.

Not sure which direction Portland is going to be going in so send in offers for anyone. Is there a deadline for the Rashard rule? If I wanted to use it on Roy would I be able to resign him for a more reasonable deal after or does he go directly into the free agent pool?

Value LMA very highly
Felton and Crash can be had, but not for cheap
Batum and Matthews I'm also fond of, so impress me

CHA here, the most exciting team

I have so many bad contracts haha I'll use the Rashard Lewis clause on Corey Maggette

I'm looking to move Augustin for either:

A) Cap relief (taking some of my bad contracts for exp/cap)
B) An upgrade at a position (SG, PG or Cc)
C) A young SF (Fields/Aminu type)

I like the core of Kemba/Henderson/BB, so they all will be hard to get. I especially like Henderson's game, so he will be valued high by me.

Are we gonna have a seperate thread for cuts and everything else such as FA and Trade blocks, or are we just gonna use this. If that makes any sense

There will be a seperate thread for FA
Everyone should have posted their releases in the "Trades" thread.

Trade Blocks and Players availiable should go in this "Discussion" thread.

if that makes any sense :D

Waived players should be posted in FA thread but the thread is not up yet so this thread will have to do in the mean time I guess.

speaking of which...

WAS will waive, Yi Jianlian, Josh Howard, Mo Evans, Hamady N'diaye, Mustafa Shakur, Othyus Jeffers, and Larry Owens.

We will extend the QO to Nick Young.

Philly's roster is up to date.

Everyone is on the block, but most likely building around Iggy, since he is one of my fav. players.

Get at me.

WASHIGNTON WIZARDS - Trade Block

All players with the exception of John Wall can be had. Nick Young can be had in a Sign and Trade deal.

I think we are doing the same Rookie scale...i think

Yes, 100% of the rookie scale (in most games we did 125%).

I have thought about this some more, and here is my final decision.
The Larry Bird Provision will be in effect for teams over the hard cap, this will be a part of the Grandfather system, however all trade restrictions still apply and teams will only have the ability to sign free agents from other teams for the minimum.

I am unilaterally changing my mind, $55 million. Reasoning: My original intent was to have about a $10 million dollar buffer between the regular cap and luxury tax...

NOTE: I sent an email saying that free agency would start in two days. That was a mistake, it will start on the same date the timeline says (the 5th) to ensure that people can enjoy their Labor Day weekend camping/traveling, etc. My apologies.

Please post all news on QOs (only if you are not extending it) and the Rashard Lewis Provision in the free agency thread so I can update the list. If anyone would like to help with free agency post in the free agency thread and I will email you a list of players you will act as an agent for. I will be posting a timeline for free agency tomorrow.

Teams have to be able to sign FAs for the same amount or it will give the team holding the FA a HUGE advantage well beyond the extra year and 2.5% raise difference.
