Houston sends out a memo.

We have resigned C Lee for 4 years 27.8125 total (6.25 / 6.71875 / 7.1875 / 7.65625)
We have resigned J Thompson for 4 years 25.575 total (5.75 / 6.18125 / 6.6125 / 7.04375)

In addition, we are pleased to announce that the upcoming season has 20 separate food promotion games, including Dollar Dog Mondays.

Finally we have a limited number of openings in our Summer Cheerleader classes, so sign up now if interested.

DJ Augustin!

4 years, 36M

There's a few reasons I targeted Augustin. First, he can shoot the ball, which is a requirement of playing next to Evans. Second, he can make plays by scoring and passing when Evans is out, or while playing next to Evans. Third, he can run the P&R with Monroe very well. And Fourth, I VERY much doubt that Houston will pay him 9.3M to be a backup, when he has 2 other starting-caliber PGs on his team.

Houston has 12 hours to match.

Houston and Atlanta have made this into a S&T. Houston gets Atlanta's 2015 2nd rounder (Top 58 protected, if not 59-60th, Atlanta's obligation is extinguished) and a 9.3 Million TPE.

Houston will have a press conference at 3:30 pm to announce the pick, and discuss our strategy for the 59th and 60th pick in that draft, after we inevitably defeat Atlanta in 6 games to claim our title. We hope all can attend.

How is Wallace signed ????? I thought it was going to be over a 24 hr period like the prev tier. This was only four hrs. I know of some specific teams that were interested in him and didn't get a chance to sumbit an offer

*edit-"Tier 2 is now open, signings will start on Sat night" What happened ??

since he was blown away by the max offer which no one could beat, he make his mind up to go to Chicago and play with DRose for max money, which is why I allowed it to be announced now. And since the situation was attractive and the money could not be touched, he decided after only 12 hours of being on the market, instead of waiting 24 hours

I know of a couple of teams that could of but didn't get that chance. I dunno it seems more like four hours then twelve, since 11 o'clock is usually when the game stops for the day.
