The rules say that we can trade up to 4 years in the future.
11a.) You may only trade picks four years in advance, so 2019 max. We are playing until - to be decided

And you can trade back to back 1st rounders.
11b.) There are no restrictions on picks traded.

I believe 2014 + 4 is 2018, so only 2018 picks are in play. Nothing after that.

That is true. I copied and pasted the rules that are posted in the sign-up thread

What are we doing about injuries for these games? IE; Rose and Kobe? Play this game as they are not playing or what?

Same as always, act how you think they will go like if you think Kobe will come back elite this season then you go with your opinion but injuries do matter.

If a player was traded in real life prior to this game starting i.e Danny Granger or Luol Deng, can they be combined in a trade for another player or do the rules prohibiting that transfer into this?

sorry for all the questions, but Im new and want to follow the rules.

thanks

Chuck

PS. Even tho Dallas has a picked owed to OKC with protections such that they cant deal one until like 2019 irl, can I deal my 2015 pick under the assumption OKC gets my 2014 pick or is it still off-limits?

Yes players can be traded right away and combined with other players.

Also you can trade as many picks back to back as you want. Just make sure the protections are always listed.

How long are you allowed to exceed roster limits? I noticed we have at least one roster with 16 players on it atm and I wouldnt have thought that legal.

We usually have a week or so without limits. Cainepelicans I'm sure will set a date.

Knicks have now traded four first round picks. 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020. That's not including the 2014 and 2016 picks already committed to other teams.

This is certainly not in keeping with the CBA.

We have never followed the picks rules. That's in the rules in the sign ups. It's one of the main CBA rules we do not Follow.

Well he should still have his 2020 pick, because that is too far in the future. And his 2018 pick is also traded and if I do not receive it in 2018, than I will get 2019 instead.

But, yeah that is why I trade a 2nd rounder to him, that way he takes part in draft day. Haha

Can you put protections on a protected pick? For example, putting a Top 5 protection on an already Top 10 protected pick.
