Maybe I should rename my team "The Over-the-Hill Gang"

Jerry West

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Was torn between another player but give me CP3.
Unsure on year but I'm leaning towards his 14/15 campaign. It was one of his best years and he was an absolute monster in the postseason. He's one of the best 2 way players of all time and a great fit with Olajuwon.

Was hoping for Kawhi here, but I guess I'll take his predecessor instead.

Scottie Pippen

There's a better center still on the board here but I like this fit much better with Magic. I needed a low FGA, athletic, glass-eating, defensive monster to get out and run the floor with Magic. so give me...

I am going for a reach here but want a lock down defender and can actually stretch the floor enough to give Wilt room to operate. Not to mention be an absolute beast on the boards if teams double Wilt. Give me Dennis Rodman

I'll take Penny. Gives me a dangerous 2nd option and gives me a ton of mismatches against smaller guards.

I wanted someone with less FGA here but ultimately I'm going with Ray Allen (still don't know which version).

Dikembe Mutobo. Perfect fit with Dirk and Curry plus he doesn't need shots to be effective. There are some great players still in the board but this guy wouldn't have lasted to my next pick. Rather be safe than sorry.

Been watching the last several picks, convinced this guy would be gone.

Karl Malone
