This is a difficult one. There are 2-3 players I was contemplating with, but all of them were PF's/Center's and I already have AD. I need some playmaking, so I will take Grant Hill. His FGA is a little high in 2000, coming in at 19.2, but what a talent he is. His last healthy season, 25.8/6.6/5.2, efficient scorer, and didn't turn the ball over, yes please.

Was considering this guy in the first round, so pretty happy to snag him here.

Probably one of the most underrated players of all time.

Jason Kidd

Damn near averaged a triple double in the 2001/2002 season. Good defender, good shooter, good fit with KD.

Give me...

Ray Allen

Image

Really excited to get Ray Allen here. Allen was an offensive juggernaut in 2001. And the best part is he actually elevated his game in the playoffs all while facing top 10 defenses in the post season. Love that KG/Allen are proven fits as well.

RS: 2P% .506, 3P% .433, REB 5.2, AST 4.6, PPG 22.0, TS% .610

PS: 2P% .476, 3P% .479, REB 4.1, AST 6.0, PPG 25.1, TS% .613

Seems like the choice has kinda been made for me.

Every guy in my "Plan A" list taken- except one.

I choose Reggie Miller.

Image

In 99-00 he shot 41% from three at 12.9 shots per game with a TS% of 60%. He was the best player on a team that reached the NBA finals, and elevated his game in the playoffs, where he maintained pretty much the percentages but elevated his scoring to 24 points per game, leading his team to a finals apperance in which they actually took two games vs. Shaq and Kobe!

Really agonized over this one...almost clicked submit on three different guys. Have to make a decision at some point though...and will go with the guy I might regret, but hopefully not. I apologize for the delay.

I'll go with Andrei Kirilenko. High bball IQ, terrific passer, and one of the more underrated slashers/backdoor cutters in the NBA. He's not a traditional floor spacer, but he'll keep the defense moving and get the ball to Shaq. Plus he's a devastating defender with great versatility and low shot attempts.

As you can see, I'm taking another champion. BIG SHOT. 2007-08 Chauncey Billups. There might be sexier picks available, but I'm going with someone who fits perfectly with LeBron, and is a proven winner.

Well I had a really tough choice here between Billups and this guy, but that was just made for me so this is a pretty easy on. I'll take:

Image

Ben Wallace: 2001-2002

At a whopping 6.0 FGA he provides absolutely game changing defense. Draymond can shoot well enough that ben won't compromise spacing and those two on the front line will be devastating defensively while Kobe is truly free to score 30+ a night on offense. Plus I have an insane amount of FGA to still play with down the line. Yes, Wallace will do nicely.

Might be a little early, but hard to find elite defenders who can score 20+ a game in the 3rd round. I'll take Jimmy Butler

I'll go with Elton Brand

Image

In 2006 he was close being the best powerforward in the league and he has a great impact on both offense and defense.
he averaged 24.7-10-2.6-1.0-2.5, 116 ortg, 100 dtrg, 26.5 PER, 15 WS I will most likely go with that year
