Any updates on the coach I was interested in? 3 years/ 15 mil btw.

The coach you mentioned would accept the offer if you wanted to make it.

The Magic would like to welcome the new and first ever female head coach: Becky Hammon (3 yrs/15 mil)

After a disappointing season which did not come close to living up to expectations, the Magic have decided to go in another direction. As a result, Frank Vogel has been relieved of his duties.

Again the San Antonio Spurs are extremly happy with Hammon's performance but can and will not stand in the way of a head coaching position if she decides to take the deal.

The San Antonio Spurs offer Dimitris Itoudis(of CSKA Moscow, Russia) a job as an assistant coach on staff. We're prepared to buy him out of his contract (runs for one more year). Since he is one of the higgest paid (€ 700k a year) coaches in europe, we offer him a three year $1.2 million deal.

Hell yeah! On my way to a very good coaching stable. We would like to offer Kevin Garnett an assistant coaching spot as well, offering to let him be in charge of guiding our big men.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

With the departure of Brian Shaw, the Lakers 2nd in command is vacant. We are informing the league that we have reached out to Jeff Van Gundy the top assistant slot + prime defensive coordinator slot. Lakers are offering unprecedented 2M per season for Van Gundy.

Itoudis is not yet ready to become an assistant in the NBA yet.

Van Gundy opts to remain an analyst.

The Lakers reach out to Sam Mitchell and Derek Fisher. Both are competent but unemployed head coaches in the NBA but could use some exposure. Fish could also be special shooting assistant to aid D'Angelo Russell in his development, being a lefty himself. Sam Mitchell is designated as a veteran coach that can help in character-building habits for the youngsters.

As the Raptors feel like change in culture is needed after poor playoff performances they reach out to Ettore Messina. The Raptors are offering him a contract worth 15 Million over 3 years.

Allready gone he's the head coach of NOP, Becky Hammon will likely follow as ORL headcoach. I've James Borrego, Ime Udoka or Will Hardy left as Spurs assistent coaches. Chip Engelland is not available, even sportscrazy can't get him of my Spurs staff.

As the Spurs GM though, i don't allow any contact to my coaching staff. If agent sportscrazy has a problem, the Spurs organisation is done with his coaching agency.

As was previously mentioned, Ettore Messina has already been hired. In that case, did you still want to fire Dwane Casey or was it just under the assumption Messina was available?

haha I really liked this post. The Spurs coaching staff definitely took a hit here.

After seeing the success of assistant coaches getting Head Coaching positions, former Spurs player, Vinny Del Negro's agent said he would be interested in joining the coaching staff to rehabilitate his image a bit as a coaching mind.

The Raptors are looking for the right fit. If we can't find a coach that fits what we're trying to do, we will retain Dwane Casey.

Is there any coach you would like to explore as an option? Frank Vogel was recently fired by Orlando.

The Raptors will inform you if they decide to explore other options but as of right now, we'd like to retain Dwane Casey.

Just to make sure he feels the love and understands how seriously we want to add him to our staff, the Pistons drop Alvin Gentry another line and assure him that, should Frank Vogel or any other candidate sign an Assistant Coach contract for more than the $2M per year we've offered him, we will up our offer to match that salary. In other words, no Associate / Assistant Coach in the NBA will make more than him if he accepts our offer.
