Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Nice pick. I was gonna take which ever one of the 2 centers that you didn't.

Thanks. Wilt's 1964 season at 12.8 fga is absurd.

It's 1967 - 1964 is just a tad more expensive

Oh yeah forgot Sixers were eligible.

I'm guessing you were also looking at FG made instead of attempted since the 15.1 X 0.85 = 12.8.

Imagine if you took the 1962 season: 39.5 FGA/G

I think you can make a case for either Wilt or Kareem for the first pick assuming the Sixers are eligible (which I understand they are). I don't think there's any case for Wilt as the first pick (and I don't know when I'd take him- not second either) if forced to take a Warriors season.

Seems like Laimbeer accidentally made a perfectly fine pick.

Fade has my options for round 1. I'll be available to provide my round 2 selection only tomorrow, if you even get to me by EOD

Would have been cool to see the ABA Champion Nets and Pacers in this.

Obviously not suggesting anything be changed now- much too late. Would have been a cool nod though.

Oscar Robertson should be viewed as the alltime great, arguably top ten player that he is. He is often overlooked. He is the most complete PG, probably among all guards, ever.

I just hope that everyone views every single one of my draft picks as the best players in the draft.

I'm a big O fan, so it will influence my votes.

I'm interested to see how many folks select players from the 60s which is usually off the table for us in these drafts. That adds a very fun element.

Wouldn't be right for lack of three point shooting of past eras, especially for alltime great perimeter players, to diminish them.
