The Celtics have pretty OP combo but with 4 rounds and 1960 on I guess everyone can be stacked by the end. Then again I didn't have to commit to all my Celtics which makes it easier.

Just to confirm you didn't mean to write "can't" here right?

Well you guys will have hard team beating Celtics with this rule while banning 2nd team Finals MVP is the perfect rule to take them down a notch, but I guess I should stop talking.

Am I missing something? Who is this mythical Finals MVP that makes Boston so imposing?

I feel getting Pierce and Billups in category 3 is pretty strong.

When does the clock start? (I have no clue what to do, so no rush.)

It is, but that's what you would expect with the first pick. Hardly game-breaking.

Plus you either need to omit a Boston All Star or try to find a non-All Star center with the last picks in rounds 2 and 3. And that’s rarely an ideal position to have a non-All Star.

Don't get me wrong, Boston absolutely should have been the first pick.

Tomorrow 9 am EST is when the clock will start. This is regardless of how many picks have been made before that time.

Due to the shortness of this draft (3 rounds only) and the relative complexity of each individual pick, the clock will be 3 hours instead of 2. This was articulated in the signup post, but I want to make sure all are aware to avoid potentially awkward moments in the future.

It's more in combination in that Boston's combination in category 1/2/4 is also in argument for best in the draft, but we'll see how it goes, the expected next picks also have some interesting paths.

Warriors and Thunder were both high on my list and I projected both to be gone before I picked, for whatever that's worth.

Don't love the 7th pick because the top options will be gone, but it's not low enough where it'll be easy to predict what falls in round 2.

I admit I did not read the rules to this game when I signed up so when I saw I was up was confused what was going on haha. Skimmed over the rules and I think San Antonio is a good picked assuming I got the rules right

What's the rule about players who were drafted by two teams?

I hope I'm able to pick today. Wanted to go to sleep soon but haven't completed a good enough research yet

We'll go with the standard- the most recent draft is the one it counts for.

If they were drafted by one team in 1985 and another in 1986, go with the team that drafted them in 1986.

So far no team I expected to have a crack at has been selected.
