JRich?

Depends on your assumption of his recovery.

He had an awful year last year....

Alright. My next move should probably define a direction for me: win now or win later.
Teams with win-now pieces (particularly good 3s): I can offer packages around expirings, Green, Nate Robinson, Glen Davis, and first round picks galore, three of which aren't mine, so wont be dead last!

Rebuild: KG and Ray Allen are the two big attractions there. Ray looks great next to a ball dominant penetrator, KG looks great just about anywhere when he's not being a douche bag. Nelson would also be a guy who's available.

Eric Gordon, my 2010 and 2011 picks unprotected and minny 2010 1st round pick are available for a young stud

- SG or SF preferable.
- i don't mind if it's a C.
- unless it's really worth i would pass on PFs and PGs

(roy/granger/melo for example but they are not available for that kind package) the player must be under 28yo, preferable under 26 yo and must be worth that package of course

I can throw in Camby/Telfair/Craig Smith if needed. I have enough cap space to absorb the player's salary.

Lastly i have no interest in expiring stars that i can get on free agency without give up those assets (that excludes LeBron/Bosh/Amare/Wade/Kobe/LMA)

Serious offers only please :P

what do you have in mind for figuring out the draft order?

EDIT: sorry this is the incorrect board for this question, can a mod please move to Discussion board.

The season will last til November 24th

Extensions can be applied for starting October 14th

When the season ends all GMs will send me an email ranking the teams 1 - 29 in order of how good they are. This ranking will determine draft order. I will then do a lottery to determine the teams getting picks 1/2/3 and post it. Once the order is determined we will have a couple of days before the draft will begin.

I just noticed LAC have Yiannis Bouroussis signed. Shouldn't we go by if they would even come to the NBA? He signed a 3 year extension (I believe) with his team in Europe (even after SAS offered him a contract).

Have a deal in the works.

Matt Barnes, Rashard Lewis, and Grant Hill are being shopped. Looking for a starting center, in the mold of : Camby, Big Z, J.O., Brad Miller. those are just examples.

^I like this a LOT more. I just thought others wanted that extra time but I would be happy to shorten it to that timetable.

I think it was posted somewhere that players would join NBA in the game even if they don't plan to do in RL eg: Rubio is signed

Confirm that with the comissioner if you want an accurate answer.

I am going to repost this because some ppl are failing to understand it.

#1 - I am not donating Eric Gordon, i am adding a lot of value to him in order to get a legit star (roy/melo/granger/durant etc)

#2 - I am not trading Gordon for an expiring star (LeBron/Wade/Amre/Bosh/Kobe/LMA) and i am sure not adding Griffin to get one of those players.

Lastly

Serious offers only please

J.O is gone - good luck for him.

I'm in win now mode and while it seems that I'm not in contender status yet, I feel like I'm headed to a sexy path. I'm terribly scared by expirings and I don't want to be involved in anything big in FA - so I'll likely only be a spectator and try to steal a key guy in FA for the MLE.

But A.I and his 5.8M expiring is on the block..Nene, West and Pierce..I'm keeping them. Hedo, Rudy Gay, James Jones, Jason Terry might be moved too.

Pistons are actively looking to trade..

BEN GORDON, MANU GINOBLI, RODNEY STUCKEY, ANTONIO MCDYESS, SASHA VUJACIC, MATT CARROLL

I am going young, so need good young players with good potential. I may deal for older players too, depending on what offers I get. Positions of interest are PG, SG and C. hoopstarrzz@gmail.com

Orlando is listening to offers for Baron Davis.
Nick Collison may be available for a good offer
Sam Young can be had for rebuilding teams
All picks are also available as well as a few TPE's for a player that will contribute to my team

Huh? I have no idea where you came up with the idea we would be doing write ups/ending the game before it even really has gone anywhere.

This game will be going on til around the 24th of November if everyone likes the timetable proposed by Mascot on page 14 of this thread.

as much as I was one of the people saying it needed to be moved up to this date, I just noticed that the NBA season doesn't start till Oct 27th. I think we should stick with commish's original date of ending the season on Nov 24th so at least we will get a chance to see it the rookies can play at all and if superstars like Al Jeff, TMac, Yao, Brand, Manu can come back healthy from injuries before we judge them. As much as it will be boring to wait another month, I think judging would be more accurate.

The Bobcats are considering moving DaQuann Cook for a backup point guard (someone like Kyle Lowry - young and serviceable), or better yet moving him and Morris Peterson for an expiring point guard.

Still looking to move Tayshaun Prince, but only for a YOUNG PF or SF, doesn't have to be a stud, but I'm not looking to win now, just to add to my core.
