from the rules thread

Trading
I will play the part of the commisioner. Any trade is subject to an appeal. Trades do not need approved by the commisioner, however, there is a 48 hour waiting period before the deal is final. This will allow time for appeals to be filed to the leagues commisioner. A 51% appeal of leagues GM's will constitute an automatic rejection of the trade. All appeals can be emailed to me or sent to me on AIM. As far as salaries when trading. We will use the same rule as the NBA does. 125%+100k rule.

your gonna have to rework the numbers

Trade vetoed due for salary reasons.

Egh. Ok me and gremz worked it out.
New trade:
Iggy (11.5 mill)

for

Wallace (9.5 mill)
Rush (2 mill)

Works under the cap, and I get rudy back at 5 mill.

CellarDoor wrote:Alright guys, a few notes for you: the FA deadline is Monday April 6th at midnight CST. At that time you also need to have complete, accurate rosters including anyone waived posted in the Contact information thread. From there, you will have a two week trading period. Any FAs signed in that period will NOT have a waiting period for matching offers, and will be signed on a first come, first serve basis. After the two week trading period, first round match-ups will begin. The "seeding" is your draft order and will look something like this;
1 v 12
2 v 11
3 v 10
4 v 9
5 v 8
6 v 7

I'm not going to establish any hard dates after the trade deadline, so keep an eye out as that time moves closer, but this way you can start to at least menially gameplan.

Looks like I'm facing Vintag in round 1. Though I'd rather avoid him, its going to be a good matchup.

You may remain over the cap for 48 hours, beyond that you MUST waive someone.

Why not have a one week trading period? I mean most guys will have their rosters set by day 4, two weeks seems excessive.

Because Shaq said 2 weeks. Start working on your writeups while the trading period is going on so the first round goes faster.

If you want a defensive point guard , I could offer wesbrook for bibby? Explosive offense off you bench, and lockdown defense at the PG spot.

Not looking for anything in particular, but am open to trading.

Harris/West/Duhon
Arenas/Josh Howard
Prince/Jeff Green
Duncan/Murphy
Okur/Przybilla

Anybody could be had in theory, but obviously, some will be harder to trade for.

Blackice and MJallday have agreed upon a trade.

Shaq/Bowen/Lee- 28.5 mill

for

Okafor/Terry/Posey/Westbrook- 27 mill

I made a slight adjustment to the trade, but all the main pieces are still there, MJ if you have any problem with the adjustments, just say so below. This gives me a frontcourt of Shaq/Dirk, perfect inside/outside threat, though I lose a lot of depth.

The Panthers accept, as long as Lee isn't in the deal. I can't afford him, so

Okay guys, enough haggling of players in the thread. One of you please post the accurate trade in it's completeness, the other one accept it.

Thanks.

Administrative note: for the sake of symmetry, I'd like the trading period to end on a Sunday and match-ups to begin on Mondays, with write-ups and rebuttals due by Thursday at midnight. Then the judges can judge over the weekend, and start the next rounds the following Monday.

So. The trading period will end two Sundays from now (not Easter, but the next one) unless Shaq decides a week is okay, in which case it will end (around) Easter.

All FA signings from here need to be "accepted" by the player agents (Shaq and myself). This means you can't offer All-Stars 500k and expect the agent to accept it. Please email offers to the createateamgame@gmail.com address.

All trades must be withing 125%+100k of each other as specified by Shaq, and accepted by both teams. Once I see that a trade has been accepted I will confirm it and rosters need to be changed.

By the way, whoever asked if you could trade coaches, of course you can't.
