Does anyone else think we should have a draft soon to sort out the remaining players? Most of us can't offer much more than the minimum, anyhow, and we don't want this to turn into a first come first serve situation.

Obviously, the order would favor those with more cap space (otherwise they would have saved all that money for naught). I've tried to keep track of everyone's financial situations, but it's getting kind of difficult, so, if we do decide to switch to a draft, please post how many players you have and your remaining money so I can verify my information.

I think we should set a deadline for this round (maybe 8 or 9 P.M. Eastern?) and then proceed to a draft format for the remainder.

Again, this is my idea, TMACFORMVP would still have to give us the go ahead, but I propose a deadline on players with active bids (probably about an hour or two from now). If there are any raises within the last ten minutes, there can be a slight extension for those players.

How would it work if we draft out the rest of the players if everyone has different #'s of players? How do we decide order?

It wouldn't be a simple traditional draft or a pure snake draft. It would be a combination of both.

Basically, those who have the most money left to offer (and thus would stand to lose the most from switching to a draft) will be at the beginning of the draft. In fact, they may even pick twice before some people pick once (because it's really not THAT big of an advantage just to pick first at this point; whereas picking multiple times before anybody else would be).

It's hard to say the exact order until everyone's contract information is sorted out, but that will be posted before the draft begins.

And different number of players won't really be an issue; once someone's roster is full, they'll be out of the draft. The rest of us will keep on going.

I think the draft makes more sense simply because most of us are almost done with our teams. Most of us are about to have very little cap room left. Thus, once someone nominates a player, it'll be impossible for most of us to raise the offer. Now, if someone has a lot of cap room, that's fine. But if two people both can only make minimum offers, then whoever nominates a given player first would get him. I don't think it's fair for someone to get a player simply because he happened to post first. If someone gets a player because they saved their money, that's another story. But we're getting to the point where almost no one has much money left. So it'll essentially be first come first serve, which doesn't really seem fair. A draft would make things more equal.
