here's the math guys. unfortunately doesn't work.

spurs send: Manu Ginoboli - 10,728,130, Theo Ratliff - 825,497
TOTAL: 11,553,627 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $14,542,033

spurs receive: David Lee - $7,000,000, Brian Cook - $3,5000,000, Jerome James - $6,600,000
TOTAL: $17,100,000 - too much money.

Brian Cook - 3,5000,000
Jerome James - 6,600,000
TOTAL: 13,600,000

Knicks Logic:
We weren't going to keep Lee in the off-season anyways, so we get some draft picks and add a pretty good 2G (a position that needs improvement on the roster). I think Manu will do well in D'Antoni's system.

Spurs Accept. Spurs lacked an experienced true center and David lee completes the puzzle. Ginobili's explosiveness off the bench, ball handling ability and being a good mid range shooter as well as a slasher will be missed but we warmly welcome David lee. David Lee is a great rebounder and a very good post player. Has the ability to handle the ball very well and can fit with Duncan quite well in the paint.

Trade:
The Utah Jazz Recieve
Tracy McGrady: $22,843,667
Luis Scola $3,284,124

The Houston Rockets recieve:
Carlos Boozer $12,323,900
Andrei Kirilenko $16,452,,000
2010 Utah 2nd Round Pick

Why for Utah? Save about 2 million this year and 16 million next year while receiving a strong player who plays tough defense. They also get T-Mac who knows he can continue in this league and will play hard this year in search of his next contract. Given the market for T-Mac, Utah would have an opportunity to retain him.

Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat have reached an agreement.

Phoenix Trade:
C - Jarron Collins - $1,181,803
PF - Josh McRoberts - $825,497
SF - Yakhouba Diawara - $945,000
2010 PHX 2nd Round Draft Pick
2012 PHX 2nd Round Draft Pick

Miami Trade - Dorrell Wright - $2,700,000

Phoenix does this trade to acquire an athletic wing to provide depth at both forward positions and both guard positions. Wright is a player who could potentially do well for Phoenix (and who I'd like to re-sign next season, who is a good ballhandler and passer). The picks are surplus to requirements anyway.

Phoenix Accepts

Miami will be waiving the unguaranteed contract of Slav Randolpg to do this deal.

Miami accepts, we are bored out of our minds with not getting any deal done. We simply use open roster spots to add picks. DWright has been given enough of an opertunity here in Miami for us to move in a different direction.

Houston Accepts. We pondered this deal through and through, we didnt want to give up scola in this deal at all, but the more we thought about it, the more we wanted Boozer, and With Boozer and AK along with Gibson there would be no PT for Scola Anyways...We relize this is a huge risk in the fact we might not be able to retain Boozer, but we feel we can build a good enough team around him to sign him again. Good dealing.

Heres the math:

David West $9,075,000
Morris Peterson $5,800,000

for

Brandon Rush $1,934,160
Elton Brand $14,858,472

We are happy to add David West to our froncourt, his range is nice beside Dally and he within the age bracket of our core. It costs us a very good prospect that we were very hesitant to move, and we have to take a bad contract in Peterson but we do move Brands contract as well.

WAS and HOU announce a trade.

David Anderson $2,314,815
Dorsey $881,000
HOU 2011 1st

total = 3195815 * 1.25 + 100,000 = 4094768.75(max)

for
Andray Blatche $3000000
Earl Boykins $752,659

total = 3,752,659

We hate to give up Blatche but the future first was too much to pass up.

HOuston Accepts. We need a decent bigman, and he Blatche fits the bill. Anderson stinks and is 29 years old. The first is tough to give up, but we want players not possible players that we can get in the draft. Good dealing.

Miami will need to waive the newly acquired contracts of Diawara, Collins, and McRoberts to do this deal.

Miami accepts because we wanted to completly change our team. Trading Beasley was hard. But getting A.Brooks (we feal a perfect fit next to Wade), Ariza (a defensive starting SF), Taj (nice forward prospect) and a 1st was too good to pass up. We also clear away Jones' deal. We wanted to try and get young guys that fit in with Wade and we feal this deal helps do that

Portland and Detroit have agreed to a trade:

Austin Daye (1,677,840)
Kwame Brown (4,000,000)
2011 DET 2nd
5,677,840 x 1.25= 7,097,300 max incoming value

for

Andre Miller (6,730,800)
Juwan Howard (minimum)
6,730,800 within 125%

Andre Miller is playing better and better with Portland, but we're handing the reigns to Stephen Curry. Miller got plenty of interest around the league, but getting a prospect like Daye and a 2nd rounder made this the best offer in our opinion.

Detroit accepts. With the trade for Yao, the Pistons are clearly looking forward to next season and putting together a championship team and could afford moving the inexperienced Daye. Miller is a pass first half court guy, which fits well with Yao, Hedo and also fits better with Rip Hamilton than Stuckey did. Howard will provide more vet leadership to the group.

The Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks have a deal to announce.

Denver sends:

Nene $10,520,000
Ty Lawson $1,438,680
Renaldo Balkman $2,112,417
Joey Graham $825,497

total: $14,896,594 x 1.25 = $18,620,742 > $18,091,880

New York sends:

Danilo Gallinari $3,089,040
Jared Jeffries $6,466,600
Darko Milicic $7,540,000
Toney Douglas $996,240

total: $18,091,880

Denver accepts. It's very tough to lose Nene who has been a pillar for this franchise but we love Danilo's potential. We also swap young PGs in Douglas/Lawson. We wish Nene the best and welcome Danilo and Co. to our team.

Knicks accept.

Trading away Gallinari isn't easy, but the opportunity to get an active big man like Nene is too good to pass up. He's the perfect center for D'Antoni's system and the best big man NY has had since Ewing. We also get a very promising PG in Ty Lawson who I believe will flourish in the Big Apple.

We wish Gallinari, Milicic, Douglas and Jeffries the best in Denver.

New Orleans Outgoing: $17,593,288

Chicago Bulls Outgoing: $19,890,160 X 1.25 = $24,862,700

Deal Works.

The Bulls accept, we hate to do this, giving up our two best players, but feel we can't pass upon one of the top five players in the NBA, with enough pieces around remaining to have some flexibility to further expand our roster. Our center position is completely starved, but hopefully we can work address that shortly.

Hornets accept, this a great deal for us. getting Rose for Paul and dumping some bad contracts is good but add Noah and it makes us great. The future is bright in New Orleans

Bulls accept, we don't really cut Curry's contract, but we get a player that can help us more. We hate to lose Tyrus in a deal, but the addition of Landry made him expendable and the same situation in losing Johnson with the addition of Budinger. And while Richardson's deal is rather large, we like his fit next to Paul at SG, either for the short or long term with his athleticism and three point shooting.

Bulls accept. We hate to lose Deng, as he's having a nice bounce back season, but with the recent additions of both Chandler and Richardson, it allowed him to be expendable, and allow ourselves to address a larger need, a center that could replace the void Noah left. Okafor's contract is large, but he and Deng's are nearly identical, and we pick up a player, that's currently growing with Paul, and can be the defensive anchor we sorely need.

I have know idea where you got the idea that I was doing a trade with you...

Psych!

The Lakers are especially happy to get the wafer thin mint deal. Deng is a nice addition as well. We were in need of a starting SF so Amare can move to the 5 and Bosh to the 4. The wafer thin mint will come in especially handy as a palette cleanser and was the sticking point that once agreed upon allowed this deal to move forward.

The Lakers accept the minty freshness.
