Are we doing a generalized write-up (minutes distribution, offensive/defensive philosophy) or something specific for the ranking period?

Well, since you're not actually going head-to-head against one specific team yet, you should do a generalized write-up for the ranking period. Still, you can and should go as in depth as needed.

Basically anyone can be had on the roster BUT Tim Duncan. He isn't going anywhere. If other centers in the league had better stats then him then so be it, Tim Duncan still remains in my team.

Write up?

Sigh. Fine....

I'm not actively shopping anybody, but I'm open to any trade offers. It would take a pretty ridiculous offer to get Jordan though.

Booz, can you get on AIM? I think I have a deal that's really beneficial for both of us.

Trade to announce:

Gremz sends:

Dennis Rodman
Amare Stoudemire

Booz sends:

Dirk Nowitzki
Tiny Archibald

A trade like this works well for us both. The main pieces are giving Malone a great defensive backup in Rodman, while pairing Wilt with Dirk should be a great combo.

WTF MAN? I NEVER ACCEPTED THAT! DEAL OFF. Stop it man, that's not funny. WHEN DID I AGREE TO THAT? WHEN??????

How could you do such thing when you've had some fair amount of experiences in Sim and Fantasy Games like these Gremz? WHEN DID I ACCEPT SUCH OFFER? I've totally lost my respect for you, bro.

I never accepted this, don't believe him, guys. He would probably do this to you also in the future.

Accept, Tiny was a great asset, but unfortunately, I'm loaded already, and I really want to solidify my FC depth by adding Rodman and Amare to Dwight and Ewing.

CP3 -- Arenas -- Marbury
A.I -- Pistol Pete -- Arenas
Dominique -- Melo
Karl Malone -- Rodman -- Amare
Ewing -- Dwight -- Amare

decent I should say, losing Tiny hurt, but adding Rodman and his D will just make my team's d sexier.

Shopping Amare for a tweener forward.

^Yeah, except the only years Rodman was bulky enough to play power forward were his years with Chicago, and in those years he had lost most of his defensive prowess have became a pure rebounder.

^Not DPOY all D first team caliber evidently, other than that first year.

And mind you, thats even considering the fact that those awards are based so much on previous rep.

You're a Bulls fan, though, so I suppose I'll take your word for it. I recall watching him and feeling that he must have lost a step on defense, but you probably saw him more than I.

DRTG and DWS (not the best metrics, but nothing in defense is. Tim Duncan doesn't have a single DPOY) disagree with you. He was a comparable rebounder, and all defensive metrics seem to hold the same for him. And if you WATCHED him in the playoffs for us guarding Shaq et. al it shouldn't really be a whole lot of a question.

Those Chicago teams were very good defensively everywhere posting 1st, 4th, and 3rd ranked defenses in the 2nd three-peat years. I mean, he absolutely is not the best defender in the elague, but he's more than respectable as a positional defender.

Lost a step? Absolutely. He wasn't nearly as quick. But he also wasn't switching onto Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler like he did in his earlier years. He just needed to use his positioning and incredibly annoying personality to keep his D up :)

I must give some props to Booz.

After the draft his team was the most dysfunctional, ugly looking and no defense playing team in this league that most likely couldnt win 10 games in this league. He has made some trades and now his team is maybe a 35 win team. My bench was better than his staters but now I would have to play my starters at least 15mins before Im up by 20pts.

Roster so Far.

Tiny Archibald (74-75, 75-76, 76-77)

Bob Cousy (54-55, 55-56, 56-57)

Mark Price (91-92, 92-93, 93-94)

Clyde Drexler (89-90, 90-91, 91-92)

Dan Majerle (91-92, 92-93, 93-94)

Lou Hudson (69-70, 70-71, 71-72)

Rip Hamilton (03-04, 04-05, 05-06)

Elgin Baylor (67-68. 68-69, 69-70)

Dave DeBusschere (71-72, 72-73, 73-74)

Dirk Nowitzki (04-05, 05-06, 06-07)

Wilt Chamberlain (65-66, 66-67, 67-68)

Walt Bellamy (66-67, 67-68, 68-69)

Still actively looking for trades. Cousy, Baylor, Majerle, Bellamy, Drexler and Tiny could be moved shortly. There are a couple of options that I like, but get your offers in.

I can be tempted to move a guy like DeBusschere if there is an evident team upgrade for me.

Thanks for the compliment, I like people saying sexy comments to my team.

At least, I can brag to the whole world that it would take your team 15 mins more than the usual, before being up by 20 - that's a major upgrade! That's a hard feat to accomplish and I want to thank RealGM for making me cherish this moment possible, and would like to thank myself.

Hey Booz, you got any more trades left in ya? I'm thinking something built around Nique & Rodman for Dr J & Webber.
