I'm not sure I've ever not felt like making a pick to the extent I don't feel like making this one....

Saturday night got the best of me. Went out celebrating the monster extension that my boy Tony signed. I need to decide quickly what I want to do with this pick.

I picked 6 picks before you and I felt the same way. Wished I could go with a 7 man rotation but there was no way I could get my guys to play an extra 15 minutes lol

I have extra FGA to spend, would've had a 9 man rotation if I was allowed

How did we end up with two sets of first round matchups at the same time? Not an ideal situation.

You'd have a better idea than me in all honesty. My draft started 4 days after BdeRegt's and really dragged at the end, so I'm kind of surprised we're overlapping now.

The pick your season dragged like crazy in the late rounds and voting/write ups going really slow.

It actually started four days earlier. The ten rounds probably was part of it, too.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

This is a familiar refrain...

Almost two days and none of the second round matchups are decided.

I don't know if we should even be considering starting a new game with how long the current ones are taking. It will just be another tooth-pulling exercise for the commish.

Just posted this in the new draft ideas:

"Sorry, I had a surprise meeting at 2:00. How would people feel about a game restricted by present-day divisions? A player's division would coincide with whichever team he put up his highest BPM, *during a qualifying season* (50+ games or whatever we've been doing.) If a player was traded during his highest BPM season, he belongs with whichever team he played more RS games with.

It makes sense to restrict time frame to minimize the effect of new teams such as the Bobcats/Hornets. For our purposes we can treat OKC/Seattle as being the same franchise. So, just to be clear, if you draft LeBron (who put up his highest BPM on the Cavs), every subsequent player you draft must have played his best season in CLE, CHI, MIL, IND or DET.

Does that (A) make sense and (B) sound appealing?"

These playoffs have been running for over a week and we still haven't even reached the finals.

There's three games going on right now and I worry that the one that's still being drafted is going to finish first. :o
