Two wrongs don't make a right..

Don't believe I can legally trade a 2022 second. So Felder+2021 second is all I have to offer, can't justify shipping out a 2020 first for Kostas, not even sure I'd do that with McLemore included without Shumpert. And you have no interest in Shumpert and the interest you could have in Frye won't show until Ryan Anderson makes his decision.

Harrison Barnes:

Philly would like to offer Harrison Barnes a 4 yr contract starting at 17 million with a player option on the last year. We are offering Harrison a chance to become a focal point of our offense. In Golden State, he is more of a 5/6 guy but we want to highlight him as the complete player that we know he is. That's why we put him on the Olympic team - so the rest of the world (including advertisers) know his real value.

Seth Curry:

Philly would like to offer Seth Curry a 3 yr/20 million dollar contract. We think he has been overlooked in Sacramento where the shadow of his brother looms large. He would be a perfect fit in a Simmons based offense where he can excel as the secondary ball handler while taking advantage of the open 3 looks he will get as an outlet for teams crashing the Sixers bigs down low.

Right now, we are able to offer him a starting PG role to give him the opportunity to really show his abilities. In either case, he will receive significant minutes on the Sixers, including playing some 2 guard as we see him as a multi-dimensional shooter that will fit in the many different lineup constructions we plan to run out there.

This contract will also allow him to hit the market again as an unrestricted free agent at age 28. Just think about what playing for the Sixers did for the stats of Ish Smith and MCW - now think about how Seth can take advantage of that before his next contract.

Tyler Johnson:

Philly would like to offer Tyler Johnson a 3 yr/ 24 million contract.

We think he would fit in great as our number one combo guard off the bench getting minutes both at the 2 and as a 1 when Simmons is acting as the primary ballhandler. Depending on how other contracts resolve, he might be a starter but either way we envision giving him 25 minutes a night.

What would you offer in S&T for Harrison Barnes. I'm planning on matching the less than expected deal.

As far as I can tell the Jazz could still offer Trey Burke, Shelvin Mack for Tiago Splitter. (Mack's contract is unguaranteed as long as you cut him before 7/7) So, it's essentially the same offer as before, just Burke for Splitter. I'm using the two salaries at 150% as they combine under 9.8 million. (http://www.cbafaq.com/salarycap.htm#Q82 -- #82) If this is wrong someone shout it out, I've never been an expert in these sort of things.

From the Jazz perspective this helps balance our roster. Bringing us down to 3 point guards (Hill, Exum, Neto) and opens up a roster slot we can use for one of our 2nd round picks. I think Splitter's San Antonio ties would appeal to Dennis Lindsay making the deal quite plausible.

Roster after trade

Exum, Hill, Neto
Hood, Burks, (Paige)
Hayward, Ingles, (Wallace)
Favors, Lyles, (Bolomboy)
Gobert, Splitter, Withey, Pleiss (likely cut)

So, if you are still game in Atlanta, I am prepared to do Trey Burke, Shelvin Mack for Tiago Splitter.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Sure ya can. You just cant trade two first rounders consecurively. Second rounders are fair game.

I already signed anderson yesterday. I dont want shumpert or frye. I need some future assets for koata. I dont think my asking price is unreasonable in slightest here.

I actually prefer Splitter and his expiring contract.

I understand the basic rule... I was saying you can't trade picks that far in the future.

1. Yes you can stretch Pek. He has $23.7MM remaining over two years so his cap hit would be $4.74MM annually for the next 5 years.

2. I am looking to move Monroe or Henson.

3. McRoberts is still available but Atlanta already traded Splitter to Utah.

4. I'm not sure if Chuck is shopping Wes ATM.

5. Also you might want to post this in the "Day 3" thread.
