The Grizzlies have Damien Wilkens and Malik Allen on the block for an upgrade at power forward or center. Francisco Elson or Hamed Haddadi could also be included depending on the player. I am not looking for anyone spectacular, just someone who can step in and play good defense and get a couple of baskets here and there (guys like Chuck Hayes/Reggie Evans, etc.).

PHASE II of gm a team:

gremz has volunteered to enter all your rosters into nba2k9 and simulate a season. using the standings from that season, i will simulate a lottery using realgm's lottery simulator. once that is done, we will have draft pick slots and can resume any trades and the drafting process.

How are injuries going to be factored in, and players on rosters that are not in the NBA? Also a lot of rosters are not updated, so I am going to suggest that we take a couple of days to make sure there are players not on several rosters, multiple picks, etc.

Blazers now are looking for a GOOD backup PF... can trade 2 of the following:
DeShawn Stevenson, Renaldo Balkman, Antonio Daniels, Marquis Daniels.

...If you want either of the Daniels, be prepared to offer fair value!

I am flexible; I can do this trade today before the deadline, or in a few days.

I'd like to start off by asking if anyone has any problems with me running the sim. I would like to think everyone would hold me high in regard as to what is good for the league. If collusion is a concern with anyone i would rather they speak out.

Players not on rosters
I have created such players (see Hadaddi, Weems etc.) giving them less than average ratings to coincide with their limited playing time this season. Since they will hardly feature in rotation, i really didn't see it as a concern.

Injuries
Not sure. I was under the impression that injuries were not a factor in this game, I guess that the best I can do in regard to this is to remove them from the rotation. But I will ask dcash's advice as to what to do in this regard.

I will of course be waiting until all trades are completed and rosters are updated, I implore all players to stay on top of your individual rosters to make it easier for me. I will not be simming the lottery, that will be dcash's job.

Other Options
-Would players prefer me to do an individual sim or multiple? I am not bothered either way, and all input is appreciated.
-Although it will take some time, i can apply individual team rotations to coincide with GM plans.

All CPU trades will be disallowed to ensure all rosters remain intact, once again though i ask anyone to speak up if they are worried about trusting me with this task. I would understand so please be honest

I don't have a problem with you running the sim, and I do not think anyone else will either. It sounds like you have about the best system that we could hope for. Thanks for all the work you will be putting into this!

No problem, i will ask that if all teams could submit a mpg system for their team it would greatly help me out. It would allow me to perhaps set up rotations tomorrow, which will hopefully once againbridge the gap closer to where it realistically would be.

a little more than 3 hours left. once phase II begins we will be using 09/10 salaries. that should have been implied after i said that we would be simulating a season and a lottery, but i'm just making sure there is no misunderstanding.
