Re: GM A TEAM 2010/11 - Trades
Portland Trial Blazers and Houston Rockets have agreed a trade.
Portland Trades:
PG - Marcus Banks - $4,847,586 (expirer)
for
PG - Daniel Gibson - $4,015,334
Why for Portland? Although Gibson may be considered overpaid, we like his fit for the team with his excellent 3 point shooting (46.6% on 3 attempts per game in 09/10). Given our inside presence, he should get plenty of opportunities at both guard positions to hit open shots, and maintains the young core for us to build around.

There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Re: GM A TEAM 2010/11 - Trades
Portland Trail Blazers and LA Clippers have agreed on a trade.
Portland sends:
Jarron Collins $900k
James Singleton $900k
in return for:
nothing
Portland accepts - both guys are surplus to requirements in Portland, so it makes sense to trade them away for nothing rather than cut them.

LAC accepts, we add toughness and defense to our froncourt at the cost of rosters spots which we needed to fill anyways.

Re: GM A TEAM 2010/11 - Trades
LAC and GS have reached an agreement.
LAC outgoing:
Trevor Ariza - $6,322,320
JaVale McGee - $1,601,040
GS outgoing:
Andris Biedrins - $9,000,000
We give up the ideal wing man to Roy, to net our team a 23 year rebounding machine, and a defensive anchor at C for years to come. He was injuried last season, but the year before he put up 12/11.5/1.5/1 on 58% from the floor. This guy knows his role on the team on offense, and gives me a legit 7 footer to protect the basket. Good dealing!
Our sharp shooter and defensive ace, Mickael Pietrus will be moved to the starting SF spot. We like his 3 point shooting on this team's starting 5, perfect glue guy.

GSW accepts. We weren't too fond of Biedrins as our C for the future so we decided to go with a defensive stud in Ariza and the talented Mcgee.

Houston accepts, we get out of Gibson's contract, despite his usefulness from the 3 point line.

Re: GM A TEAM 2010/11 - Trades
Sacramento and Memphis have come to an agreement on a trade.
Sacramento Trades
Emeka Okafor $11,795,000
Josh Howard $5,000,000
Omri Casspi $1,254,480
2011 Sacramento 1st
for
Rudy Gay $13,750,000
Hasheem Thabeet $4,793,280
Lester Hudson $762,195
Sacramento Accepts, while this trade does send out a lot of talent, and swaps okafors bad contract for an even worse one in gay. I couldnt pass up the opertunity to pair up Gay with Evans.
Collison/Evans/Gay/Udoh/Thabeet
has so much potential as a young squad.

Grizz accept. We have been looking for an upgrade at C for a while, and we feel we got one here in Okafor, who fits very well with West. We also shed a little bit of salary and add another pick to our growing collection.

Money Wise it works....
Dallas accepts because i like Sefalosha for my team a lot he can come in and automatically make it hard for whoever i put him in against, and feel that Mullens whom we traded away in the 2009 NBA Draft could eventually do something in this league...
There will be a part 2 of this trade....

Dallas accepts because i needed to cut a roster spot and had been working on this trade for a while, I like what Murphy would be capable of doing in a run n gun system with Nash running the show.....Also i like Earl Clarks' potential and what he can do in this league....

Phoenix accepts. Murphy didn't belong on our roster anymore as he was more valuable to a contender now. We finally got the young PF we wanted in Thomas and we have been after Claver for a while now. Barbosa works in our system and, although we shipped him out earlier when we were aiming for contention, now our only hope of winning games is to outscore the oponent... and that's the one thing Barbosa is great at, scoring.

Re: GM A TEAM 2010/11 - Trades
The Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers would like to announce a deal.
DET outgoing:
Will Bynum $2 mil
Incoming:
AJ Price 762,195
James Singleton 900,00
Unprotected 2013 first rounder.
Incoming salary is 1,662,195 or something like that.
And the same going back the other way.
Detroit does this deal as we feel that Will Bynum is definitely a unique talent, but is worth the gamble for a future first round pick. We also feel that AJ Price can be our backup point guard just as efficiently. James Singleton also is decent rebounding big that we can depend on.

Confirmed. We add a 6th man who can play backup minutes at both G spots. A nice fit beside Roy and Westbrook.

The Atlanta Hawks and Oklahoma Thunder have come to terms on a minor trade proposal:
Atlanta trades:
Houston 2013 second round pick
Atlanta gets:
Rodney Carney
OKC trades:
Rodney Carney
OKC gets:
Houston 2013 second round pick
Atlanta Hawks accept. I add depth and work toward completing my roster. Math works as its a min. salary contract.

After days of negotiations, The Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons have come to terms on a trade proposal:
Atlanta trades:

Malik Hairston $854,389

Atlanta 2011 First round pick
Toronto 2011 second round pick
Atlanta 2013 second round pick
Atlanta 2014 second round pick
Calculation for Atlanta: Incoming < ((Outgoing * 1.25) + 100,000) = $19,623,720 < (($16,295,476 * 1.25) + 100,000)
Atlanta Hawks accept. Although I take on CV and BG’s bad contracts and they will be playing off the bench making them very expensive, I felt I need the depth to be a playoff team in the stacked eastern conference. I know they won’t play a lick of defence and chuck relentlessly but I am taking another risk here and see how this pans out. If anything, we will be back to the mediocre ways of the good old Atlanta Hawks of the early 2000’s and have the NBA laugh at us again. Should be fun!

accepted, as i needed to get rid of a min. deal to take on another one (didnt want to add any more salary). I also get a pick outta the deal instead of just dumping him for nothing.
