Denver accepts, we like Kirilenko's defensive abilities and ability to play multiple positions. We feel that he will compliment Carmelo Anthony's game.

The Portland Trailblazers and Chicago Bulls have agreed upon a trade.

The Bulls send Julian Wright ($2,000,040) in exchange for Patrick Mills ($457,588), and TPE generated from capspace Blazers possess.

The Bulls accept, with recent additions, we don't really need Wright, and take him off the payroll for the 2010.

Trailblazers accept.

We like Patty Mills, but he was the most expendable piece on our squad and it was worth moving him to bring on Wright, a nice prospect with another year on his rookie deal.

it was off by 60k I know in salaries and thats why you did it this way, but the TE from Petro has expired. Same goes for Denver and atkins TE. Which makes the trade illegal, however, im a nice guy and figured the trade was fair so i did a little looking and you can use the TE that was created in the Jeff Green Trade and Denver can use Stephen Hunter TE.

San Antonio Spurs Trade:

SF - Richard Jefferson - $14,200,000

Phoenix does this trade to help progress towards a 2011 rebuild. Richard Jefferson will be less productive than Maggette/Wright & Dragic combined, but given the depth already at the forward and guard positions, we should not sacrifice too much on the court in the meantime.

Phoenix Accepts

Spurs Accept. We acquire a young asset in Dragic, who I personally believe will be one of the best point guards in the future looking at his agility, ball handling and play making skills. He is a decent midrange shooter, can draw fouls and is young, and can therefore bring some energy off the bench. Corey Maggette is a better shooter than jefferson, better contract and is doing relatively well compared to jefferson so having him as our starting SF fits the current plans of this organization pretty well.

Joel Przybilla $6,857,725
2010 2nd Chi/Por

Total: $13,029,151

Houston sends:

Ben Gordon $10,000,000
Chuck Hayes $2,147,750

Denver accepts. We like Gordon's ability to play both Guard positions and we feel that putting him next to Carmelo Anthony will alleviate pressure off both of them. We also like Chuck Hayes' defense and hustle. Sad to lose JR but we feel that this is a good move for the long term growth of our team.

Houston Accepts. We feel that Tony Parker/JR Smith can be our back court for the next 8-10 years. These to compliment each other very well. Ben Gordon was a nice piece to have but he is just to small. Hayes will be missed in Houston with his hustle and defense, but we feel once Pryzbilla is healthy we win that part of the deal also. The 2nd is just gravy. Good dealing again Denver.

well after over a week of negotiations, Miami and New Orleans have a deal to announce

NO will trade Collison($1,266,120), Fisher ($5,048,000) and the 2010 NO 1st
to Miami for
Ariza ($5,854,000), D.George ($1,600,000)

Miami accepts because it helps our rebuilding process. This was actually my 3rd option of a trade with N.O. but the pick sealed the deal for me. I love this upcoming draft class and liked Collison alot in last years draft and like what he has offered off the bench this season. I wish Ariza well, he was a nice fit here, but Collison and a 1st was too good to pass on

Milwaukee and Charlotte have come to an agreement:

Troy Murphy $11,047,619
Chris Douglas-Roberts $736,420
Speedy Claxton $5,209,454
for
Nazr Mohammed $6,466,600
Josh Howard $10,890,000

$16.992M vs. $17.39M (obviously works)

Charlotte accepts. Murphy allows us to space the floor more and I like CDR's game in a scenario where he can be a more efficient player with less touches. I think my starting lineup is pretty much complete and good enough to compete in the East.

Confirmed. We cut a bit of 2010 salary and get an all-star caliber wing player to either keep or use as another future asset.

Speaking of trades, Milwaukee and Philadelphia have a trade to announce.

Daniel Gibson ($4,088,500), Rudy Gay ($3,280,997) and Steven Hunter ($3,696,000)
for
Kevin Martin ($9,680,170), Soloman Jones ($1,620,000) and Milwaukee's 2010 2nd round pick

Salaries: $11,065,497 to $11,300,170

Why? We get a favorite of ours who fits in with our young core's age and pick up a decent point guard to stopgap until we find a more permanent fit.

Confirmed. We commit to Young at SF and add a top tier scorer, whose shooting will really help spread the floor our team. Gay would have cost us a lot in the offseason while Martin is locked into a very good contract long term. Nice dealing.

Pending approval of my prior deal, PHI and LAC have agreed to a trade. We get younger and grab a guy we've been targeting since the beginning of the game, we also save money.

Kevin Martin $9,680,170, Kareem Rush $825,497, 2010 MIL 2nd rounder, 2010 MIN 2nd rounder

total = $10,505,667

for

Eric Gordon - $2,819,880, Rasual Butler $3,945,000 , Ricky Davis $2,400,000

total = $9,164,880 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $11,556,100

trade accepted. we're taking on about 6mil more next yr in salary but feel it gets offset by martin's current talent level.

Portland and NYK have agreed up on a trade

Zydrunas Ilgauskas (11.54)
Theo Ratliff (min)
11.54m

Kwame Brown (4.00)
Steve Blake (4.00)
Julian Wright (2.00)
2011 TOR 2nd
10.00 x1.25=12,5m

Why for POR? We need a stopgap C for this season and Z was a great option for us. We'll hang on to his rights and hopefully sign him as a backup for Greg next year. Ratliff can also give us a few minutes, further alleviating the loss of Oden. We felt it was fair value on both ends to give up a couple of expirings, a young guy, and a future 2nd for Z as it fits with the direction of both of our teams.

Knicks agree.

Logic:
We weren't going to keep Ilgauskas and Ratliff in the long-term, so being able to acquire a young player in Wright and a 2nd rounder helps improve our long-term foundation. Brown and Blake are also pretty good role players who can help off the bench.

Best of luck to Big Z and Ratliff in Portland.

Bobcats Outgoing: $19,537,453
Bobcats Incoming: $16,881,800 X 1.25 = $21,022,250 > $19,537,453

The Cavaliers send Anthony Parker ($2,664,231), Fabricio Oberto ($1,990,000), and Mo Williams ($8,860,000) in exchange for Jason Richardson ($13,333,332), Jose Juan Barea (1,657,500), and Chucky Atkins ($825,497).

Bulls Outgoing: $20,190,629
Bulls Incoming: $20,544,184

Deal Works!

Bulls accept. It was tough for us to do, as we like Richardson, and his fit on this team, but unfortunately he doesn't fit with the direction in which we're going, and don't see him in our long term plans. Here we get some pieces that can help contribute now, but also give us more financial flexibility in the future.

The Pacers accept.

While it is hard to trade away Andre Iguodala, whom I traded the face of my franchise for, I feel like I'm getting a great package. In this deal, I get some cap relief in the form of Quentin Richardson's expiring contract and James Jones' unguaranteed contract. And I get a great prospect who I think is ready to break out in a big way and in a sense I see him as a similar player to Kevin Durant. I also get a young big man who still has a lot promise, but injuries have derailed him the last couple of years. The Pacers also take off DeSagana Diop's burden of a contract off our cap.

Golden State accepts. With the addition of Beasley here, Anthony Randolph was available to be moved. We love the future going forward with Jennings/Iggy/Beasley. We also liked Wright, but didn't want to wait for him to get healthy. We wish AR and Wright success in Indy and welcome in Iggy (..and those other guys).
