Orlando is waiving the unguaranteed contracts of both Antoine Walkers and Malik Hairston to do this trade.

Orlando accepts, we like the defensive style of play the Crash gives us and are thrilled to pair him with Capt Jack on the wing. This deal also lowers or payroll. My team how actually has a lower payroll then the real life Magic. Most the other pieces are just fillers, but we do add a prospect in Young who offers the defensive skills we like, and a 2011 1st. We were very high on Ryan Anderson (probly higher then most other GM's) but could not pass this deal bye.

here is more clear breakdown of salaries

Boston sends:
Rasheed Wallace (5,854,000)
Gerald Wallace (9,500,000) TOTAL: 15,354,000

Boston Receives:
Eric Dampier (12,115,500)
Ryan Anderson (1,317,120)
Aaron Afflalo (1,086,240)
MIA 2010 1st (unprotected)
DEN 2011 1st (unprotected) TOTAL: 14,618,860

Dallas Sends:
Damp (12,115,500)
Afflalo (1,086,240)
Harrison (1,306,455)(unguaranteed)
Young (824,200)
WALL-E (825,497)
MIA 2010 1st, DEN 2011 1st, DAL 2011 1st TOTAL: 16,157,892 x 1.2 +100,000= 19,489,470

Dallas Receives:
JRICH (13,333,332)
Sheed(5,854,000) TOTAL:19,188,332)

Orlando Sends:
JRICH (13,333,332)
R.Anderson (1,317,120) TOTAL: 14,650,452

Orlando Receives:
Crash (9,500,000)
WALL-E (825,497)
Young (824,200)
Harrison (1,306,455)(unguaranteed)
DAL 2011 1st TOTAL: 12,456,152 x 1.2 + 100,000= 15,047,382

Boston sends: Rasheed Wallace, Gerald Wallace (5,854,000+9,500,000*1.25=19,192,500)
Boston Receives: Eric Dampier, Ryan Anderson, Aaron Afflalo, MIA 2010 1st (unprotected), DEN 2011 1st (unprotected)(obviously less...do I really need to do these salaries?!)

Dallas Sends: Damp, Afflalo, Harrison, Young, Wally, MIA 2010 1st, DEN 2011 1st, DAL 2011 1st (12,115,500+1,086,240+1,306,455+824,497+824,200*1.25=20,196=20,196,103)
Dallas Receives: JRICH, Sheed(13,333,332+5,854,000=19,188,332)

Orlando Sends: JRICH, Anderson (13,333,332+1,317,120)
Orlando Receives: Crash, Wally, Young, Harrison, DAL 2011 1st (9,500,000+824,497+824,200+1,306,445---salaries less than outgoing, no CBA rules violated)

Boston accepts. Really I'm still pretty bored. And while I like Crash, he was the first guy I got a decent offer on. Damp is either a nice expiring or a S/T chip to get one of the big FAs next year, so I think he'll be a great asset moving forward and is a good back-up to Perkins. Anderson gives me approximately 634 PFs, but this one's young and has range. The MIA and DEN 1sts are value assets here and both could be reasonably high picks.

ACCEPTED this trade makes me a contender with SHeed defensively, and Jrichardson's offense to assist Dirk on the floor.

Denver Nuggets sign Maceo Baston to a $1,306,455 veterans minimum deal to bring our roster to the desired 12 players.

You don't have to wait if it was listed as contingent in the original trade. If not then a newly acquired player(via trade) will not be tradeable til 48 hours has passed since the 1st trade was approved.

If I am about to conduct a trade that will get me within the roster restrictions do I need to still release a player before I conduct the trade? If I do the Bobcats release Robert Swift from his non-guaranteed contract, otherwise I want to keep him.

you can just release the player when you post the trade (like I did in the Boston/Orlando/Dallas 3-way). the catch is you got to waive a guy that was on your roster, not an incoming player (like the voided trade did)

I will consider Swift waived since your roster should already be within the required 12-15 range.

The season has started so if your roster has more than 15 you muat make some cuts ASAP to get your roster legal. If you have less than 12 you must sign a player(s) to get to the required minimum.

You can not use trades to get within these limits as that ship has sailed with the ending of the off-season.

If the season has started then all unguaranteed contracts still on rosters should become guaranteed contracts right?

no, unguaranteed contracts are only guaranteed if stated.

such as if a player is not waived before august 31st or something.

if You sign a player to a fully unguaranteed then you can waive him at anytime and the rest of his salary comes off the books...but it depends on how many games have been played in the season as he gets a % of his salary

for example if a players salary is 700k and 41 games are gone in the season and he is waived, he is on the books for 350k.

however, i dont think we will be doing that since it will just make a mess on peoples rosters and will be removed when salaries change to 2011 anyways.

Prior to the deal Sacramento signs Luther Head $855,189 fully unguaranteed

Sacramento and Golden State Have a Deal to Announce

Sacramento Trades
Tyreke Evans $3,610,080
Andres Nocioni $7,500,000

Golden State Trades
Andre Iguodala $12,200,000
2010 2nd Golden State
2012 Lakers First

Sacramento accepts, while we are unsure trading a possible superstar in Tyreke we feel that Andre Iguodala fits better with our plans. Our intensions after we traded for Kirk Hinrich all along was to make him the starting PG, and now we have fuffiled this while adding a star player along side him and deng.

Confirmed. We love Iggy, but Evans is much cheaper, younger, and imo has more potential. A future backcourt of Curry/Evans with Bynum in the middle has loads of potential, with assets still available for further tinkering. The two picks we lose weren't going to be worth much anyway.

Bobcats release Theo Ratliff.

I forgot to add him to my roster after a trade so I though I was at the roster limit, sorry about that. We hope that someone will sign him because he deserves a chance for a championship.

The Bobcats and Heat have agreed to a trade:

Heat trade/Bobcats receive:
Jermaine O'neal $23,016,000
Joe Crawford $736,420
Chris Hunter $736,420
$24,488,840 x 1.25 = $30,611,050

Bobcats trade/Heat receive:
Boris Diaw $9,000,000
Nazr Mohammed $6,466,600
Vladimir Radmanovic $6,466,600
Raymond Felton $5,000,000
$26,933,200

The Bobcats accept becuase it gives us a better chance of a top 3 pick in a strong draft, and because it saves us $28,000,000 next year and puts us in contention for free agency. I think that the lure of a deep young team is going to draw one of Bosh/LeBron/Wade to Charlotte to play on Jordan's team.
