Toronto Send -
3 Million Cash
Toronto creates a $3,272,997 TPE because they're under the cap

Portland Trailblazers Send -
Nick Collison $3,272,997 || $2,929,332 || $2,585,668 || $2,242,003

(Prior to the deal, Toronto waives Anthony Carter)

Toronto accepts. Not planning to buy anybody out, and, as everybody knows by now, I need to wind up with Collison by the end of every game, so I may as well get him now.

Finally got something done. Will miss Nene, but people didn't show a lot of interest in him anyways..
Wes is nothing special this year too. And Iggy is a guy that i have always liked.

The Lakers and Bucks have agreed to a two part trade.

Trade #155: Los Angeles Lakers-Milwaukee Bucks

Part One
Los Angeles Lakers Receive:
PG Kirk Hinrich ($8,100,000)

Milwaukee Bucks Receive:
Traded Player Exception ($8,100,000)

Part Two
Los Angeles Lakers Receive:
Future Considerations

Milwaukee Bucks Receive:
PG Josh Selby ($550,000)

Lakers accept.

We deal a little bit of financial flexibility and get a point guard whose more in tune with what the Lakers want to do. This opens a lot of other possibilities for us as well.

You saw me making one deal and you were amazed? How about 2 in a row? We accept. Kirk's going to expire anyways, so we'll take that TPE, since it doesn't hurt our chances in this upcoming free agency and gives some future flexibility.

#156 Minnesota and Charlotte have a trade:

Minnesota sends: Ben Wallace($2,246,400) $2,246,400 x 1.5 = $3,369,600

Charlotte sends: Jerryd Bayless ($3,042,280)

Minnesota will also send $1m in cash.

Minnesota accepts. Bayless is a nice scoring guard who can compliment Rubio off the bench, and play some minutes with him as well.

Trade 157 - Indiana and Orlando

Indiana Trade:

Damion James - $1,243,080
Keith Bogans - $854,389
2014 2nd
2015 GSW 2nd
$3m cash

Total = $2,097,469 (*1.5 = $3.05m)

Orlando Trade:

Shane Battier - $3,000,000

Why for Indiana? Shane Battier is still a top perimeter stopper as evidenced by his season so far in Miami, including holding Kobe to 38% shooting in a terrific performance. He'll take some load off Granger and George.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

trade #158

Knicks trade
Barbosa $7,600,000
Cunningham $2,000,000
2014 NY 2nd
$3 mil in CASH
totals: $9,600,000

Suns trade
Udoh $3,294,960
Flynn $3,414,720
totals: $6,709,680 x 1.5 + 100,000 = $10,164,520

NY does this to buy a prospect, we were not having luckk buying a 1st so we decided to buy Epke who we like. Flynn returning to NY is a nice story plus we let a true pro in Barbosa return home to PHX

NOTE: deal creates a TPE worth $2,890,320 for NY

#160 Minnesota and Phoenix have a trade:

Minnesota sends: Trevor Ariza($6,790,640) + Goran Dragic($2,108,000) = $8,898,640 x 1.5 = $13,347,960

Phoenix sends: Anthony Morrow($4,000,000) + Channing Frye($5,600,000) = $9,600,000

Minnesota accepts. Needed a true SG in Morrow instead of Ariza, and we like Frye's shooting off the bench. Goran became expendable with the trade for Bayless.

#161

Pistons and Sixers have agreed upon a deal.

Sixers Receive
Jrue Holiday ($1,741,440)
Brook Lopez ($3,076,983)
Klay Thompson ($2,126,520)
Alec Burks ($2,126,520)
Shawn Marion ($8,022,449)

Total: $17,093,912

Pistons Receive
Chris Paul ($16,359,805)
Jason Kapono ($854,389)
Hamed Haddadi ($1,300,000)
Jon Brockman ($1,000,000)

Total: $19,514,194

Deal Works.

I really don't know, wish this came another night...but we had depth to consolidate, right? Right? Will probably regret this in the morning, prob busiest night for me, and I make the biggest trade for my team. It's for fun, right?? Sigh...

#163 Denver and Minnesota

Minnesota sends: Anthony Morrow($4,000,000) + Iman Shumpert($1,563,120) = $5,563,120 X 1.5 = $8,344,680

Denver sends: Arron Afflalo($7,750,000) = $7,750,000

Minnesota accepts. Afflalo is more of a starter at this point, and Shump was pretty buried on our depthchart at the moment. Afflalo is a great role player that plays nice defense on 3 spots, hits the 3, and can even create his own shot at a decent rate.

Nuggets accept. We save both longterm and shortterm salary, and pick up a great young prospect in Shumpert.

Prior to making this deal, the Nuggets waive veteran Brad Miller. We will continue to pay him his 11/12 salary, as well as the $848,000 he is guaranteed next year.
