MIA sends:
Jameer Nelson $7,800,000
Kevin Martin $11,519,840
Total:$19,319,840

HOU sends:
Andre Miller - $7,807,728 (TO) N/A
Marcus Morris - $1,566,900
Chuck Hayes - $4,000,000
Courtney Lee - $2,225,093
HOU 2012 1st

Total: 15,599,721

HOU has 11M in cap space, so he can absorb the extra salary. We do this because we get young depth and a good vet in andre. we also get a draft pick! martin's 3 will be missed greatly, but we hope thornton can step it up. Good Dealing, HOU.

This trade may be tweak in using a TPE and breaking it into 2 deals, but fundamentally the Houston Rocket accept this trade. No only do we get our roster size down to league limits and replace an outstanding 35 yr old PG with an outstanding 29yr old PG with better range to spread the floor, but we reacquire Kevin Martin. You cannot be log jammed at a position with players of the quality of Matthews & Martin. We do move an excellent prospect in M Morris, a solid backup in Courtney Lee and the Pick - but it is deals like this that makes the plan to acquire assets a good one.

The Spurs and Pistons have agreed to a trade.
Trade Number:19
Detroit Outgoing:
Richard Hamilton $12,500,000
Will Bynum $3,250,000
Total: 15.75m

Spurs Outgoing:
Richard Jefferson $9,282,000
James Anderson $1,402,540
Matt Bonner $3,365,000
Total: 14.05m * 1.25 = 17m+

This trade really solidifies our bench. We have a ton of scoring now. It also opens up the 3 spot so that Kawhi Leonard has minutes right off the bat. We probably would have cut Richard Jefferson anyway.

Trade #20.

GS out / Houston in:
Dorell Wright - $3,823,000

Houston out / GS in:
Kyle Lowry - $5,750,000

The difference in salaries is $1,927,000, and GS has more than $12.5 in cap space (current salary just under $42.5M).

GS accepts. I like Lowry a lot and think I'll be able to replace Wright's 3-point shooting.

NOH accepts. This was the best offer for Paul, by far. DMC is a guy who has a super high ceiling, plus I've always wanted to build around him. Thornton really broke out last year and proved he was a very nice building block. The Houston 1st should be top 5 since they are rebuilding, so with Thornton/DMC/2 potential top 5 picks, I like the way my team is shaping out.

Houston Accepts this trade. Moving Gallnari in the deal to pick up Wes Matthews created a need for a seasoned SF. Donnell Wright was the player the Rockets targeted and are pleased to be able to sign him. Kyle Lowry was expendable having acquired Jameer Nelson who the Rockets feel will provide added leadership to their young core.

Trade 22 - Dallas and Boston have a trade to announce.

Dallas Trades

Jason Terry $10,658,000
Corey Brewer $3,059,000
Roddy Beaubois $1,236,720
2012 and 2013 1st Round Draft Picks

- total outgoing = $15,901,627

Boston Trades

Paul Pierce - $15,333,334

Dallas confirms. We love what Pierce brings at both ends of the court, this further strengthens our starting 5 as the toughest in the league.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

We accept. Roddy has to be one of the most exciting prospects in the league. Reminds me of a younger Tony Parker with more athleticism. The pick will probably be a late first. Worst case...we get a solid international prospect.

MIA sends:

Chris Bosh ($16,022,500)
Eddie House ($1,399,507)
Norris Cole ($890,200)
Courtney Lee ($2,225,093)
MIA 2012 2nd round

Total: $20,537,300

Ricky Rubio ($3,480,120)
Michael Beasley ($6,262,347)
Darko Milicic ($4,776,500)
Martell Webster ($5,256,000)
Nikola Pekovic ($4,320,000)
Wayne Ellington ($1,154,040)

Total: $25,249,007

$20,537,300*1.25+100,000 = $25,771,625> $25,249,007 so money works! MIA does this to get Beasley to replace Bosh, and Ricky to be mentored by CP3. Darko and Nikola provide depth at C behind Hayes for defensive purposes and we get a good wing in Martell who can help spread the floor and Wayne as some depth.

Accepted. Wolves get Chris Bosh to pair with defensive center Andrew Bogut and allows Derrick Williams to develop with Beasley gone. Wolves also get a great young off the bench scorer in Courtney Lee and a very underrated rookie point guard in Norris Cole, who I feel will have a bright future in this league.

Trade #25:

Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers have reached the agreement:

Pacers send:

Geroge Hill $1,390,906
2012 2nd round pick

TOTAL: $1,390,906

Magic send:

J.J.Hickson $2,354,537

TOTAL: $2,354,537

The difference in salary is about 1mil and Indiana is way under a cap (Their total salaries are about 37mil), so deal obviously works.

Orlando does it, because we really like George Hill as a player. He’s a combo guard, who can play defense and score some points. Geroge is 3 years older than Hickson, but 2nd rounder compensates that.

MIA sends:

Ricky Rubio ($3,480,120)
Darko Milicic ($4,776,500)
Martell Webster ($5,256,000)
Nikola Pekovic ($4,503,600 )
Wayne Ellington ($1,154,040)

Total:$19,170,260

BOS sends:
Kevin Garnett ($21,247,044)
Roddy Beaubois ($1,236,720)
Avery Bradley ($1,524,480)
NJ 2012 1st unprotected

Total: $24,008,244

24,008,244< 1.25*$19,170,260+$100,000 = $24,062,825 so salaries work!

We don't like losing Rubio because he'd be a great apprentice to CP3, but he won't get many minutes, so we thought Roddy would be a better fit as backup. KG is the Defensive Conductor on the court and compliments cp3 and lbj very nicely. He will pair with Hayes in the front court very well and mentor marcus morris as well! We also get a pick! Great dealing, BOS!

Trade 27
Raptors & Rockets Announce Deal
Toronto Raptors have moved combo Guard Jerryd Bayless to the Houston Rockets for Rookie Donatas Montiejunas. This move improves both teams in positions of need and Houston loves the work ethic and instant offense Bayless has demonstrated. He has continue to improve in all aspects of the game.

Since Both teams have Cap space, Bayless' salary of $3,042,280 for Montiejunas' $1,170,000 can be absorbed under the provisions of the new CBA.

Detriot accepts. We have a logjam at the SG position while remaining light at SF with Tayshaun prince going into free agency.. Not the best of contract in RJ coming back but we get to try out James Anderson while Bonner gives us another big body albeit 1 who can spread the floor for us.

The Indiana Pacers accept this deal. We've been looking for a power forward who was productive but still young enough to improve and grow. JJ Hickson fits that to a tee.

TRADE 28

Portland out, GS in:
Greg Oden S&T 5 years, $50M
($9.4, 9.4, 10, 10.6, 10.6)

GS out, Portland in:
David Lee$ 11,610,000
