Cleveland is looking to move Jamison and Varejao to contenders. Looking for picks and prospects back. Irving and Thompson are very hard to get, but anyone else is available.

After the rosters are supposed to be posted, I'll be posting a trades thread shortly thereafter.

Keeslinator wrote:No its not. CBA states that you can use amnesty only on players you had when the CBA was signed, good question tho.

The only provision I've seen was that the contract must have been signed prior to the current CBA. You may acquire and then amnesty a player so long as their contract was signed during the previous CBA.

Correct, I believe the only exceptions I made to it were David West, Nene, and Tyson Chandler. Those are the only 3 UFA who are eligible for S&T. I found extenuating circumstances to allow it.

I have that question about Kawhi Leonard.

Use salaries from the 2010 rookies. Fifth pick in 2010 = fifth pick in 2011.

QO and TO are automatically picked up unless stating otherwise. You can waive UNG contracts now.

Blazer50 wrote:Yitur asked if UFA could be included in S&T deals. I would like to know if you can waive UFAs and eliminate their cap holds on your roster for Pre FA cap space? Also - Do Bird Rights apply to UFA? It was my understanding that a player could accept a QO - play out his contact and the original team would have no rights to that player so he could determine his value on the open market.

I think the answer is NO to both our questions, but would like a ruling so the game is consistent.

Nene, Tyson Chandler, and David West are the only UFA eligible to be S&Ted. No other UFA are allowed to be S&T.

Yes, you may waive UFA in the free agency thread to eliminate cap holds.

Bird rights apply as long as they've been with your team at least three years (barring a player being in the league less than that). They should be listed on your salary page.

You still own their bird rights if they took the QO last year, that just makes them an UFA this year instead of a RFA.

Player options have already been declared. And there will be no "bidding" like the real NBA, they'll just go straight into FA.

I want to thank you guys for bearing with me the last day or two, I've had four tests in two days including three tomorrow that I've had to get prepared for. I'll be away from my computer for most of tomorrow, but I'll try and get to a computer after my third test to answer questions and get the trade thread up. I'll be posting the first batch of eligible FA on Monday around noon, and roughly 24 hours later I'll announce FA signings. After those, I'll do the next batch and so on and so forth.

I'll hopefully get my roster page up sometime around noon on Friday, you're just going to have to deal with it to be honest. Derrick Rose isn't untouchable, but it's going to take a heck of a deal to move him. Likewise with Joakim Noah, although a bit more available. I've got a bunch of expiring contracts (around 17.5 million), so I'm willing to take on contracts if I'm compensated correctly. Carlos Boozer is actively OTB.

Memphis is willing to deal OJ Mayo and/or Xavier Henry for a big man. Not necessarily looking to make a huge splash, but not opposed.

I have a question for anyone who knows stuff about messaging programs...

I have had an AIM account ever since I started this game (back in JAN). For the first few months, it worked just fine on my computer. I then got a new phone, and downloaded it on there.

About 5-6 months ago, my AIM program on my computer stopped working well. It started freezing the whole computer for 20-30 seconds at a time, so I had to stop using it. This is why I always am on my phone when I talk to people on AIM.

My delema is that I want it back on my computer so that I can type faster. Does anyone know an alternate program that allows me to message people on AIM, but using a different program? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
