I may be wrong but Nate rob is a minimum contract so you don't have his bird rights.
Also I'm positive that between all the cap holds of Harris / Jones / rookies and Horford / Asik you probably don't have max money any more (just eyeballing salary)

FWIW, you don't have to waive the bird rights UNTIL you use the cap space that those cap holds were taking up.

I know the case in real life may be true, but idk about these games.

You have to show you have the cap space before you make an offer.
You can't say, "I offer a max contract, after I wave the rights to this guy, this guy and this guy"

Why not, if u miss out on signing a big time free agent you should be able to retain bird rights to your own players so u don't get royally screwed and miss out on signing the big free agent and not being to resign your own players

I don't, but seeing what the superstars are looking for I don't meet any of the criteria, lol. I'm just planning on signing some really good tier 2 guys.

Also, Tier 1 might end up a little late, sorry bout that. Won't get on a computer for a while unfortunately.

I just saw the list of FAs and I don't think you have Jeff Teague on there, he's a restricted FA

Was supposed to be a few hours ago, but orangeparka ran into internet issues. If it delays much longer, I'll push back FA a day.

Tier 1 signings:

Got a bunch of great pitches and all, so it sucks they only choose one team, but here they are:

Dwight Howard has decided to re-sign with the Boston Celtics. At this point in his career, Dwight decided that he loves being part of a storied franchise, and would hate to have left his original team twice. He feels he can be the man and the main name in Boston next to Rondo, and still have a very competitive team.

Chris Paul has decided to re-sign with the Chicago Bulls. Playing next to a top PF in Bosh and a solid cast of starters, Paul decided to remain with a great franchise like the Bulls, as well as secure long-term financial stability with his uncertain knees. Staying was the best option considering everything.

Andrew Bynum has decided to sign a four-year max deal with the New Orleans Pelicans. Bynum didn't want to leave, but took the best offer on the table, joining a nice, young crew in NO.
