I'll take Rick Barry

Pelifan wants Ben Wallace

Can someone quote the next guy?

Tough choices, after much agonizing I'm gonna go perhaps a bit outside the box here:

Image

Connie Hawkins. Basically a super-charged version of one of Magic's best irl teammates who shall remain nameless. Great, efficient scorer, excellent rebounder and quite a capable playmaker as well. We have great playmaking and ball-sharers at every spot so far, our offense is going to be really tough to slow down, and when we get you in transition, watch out!

Damn, really no time to research today and all my list was destroyed.

So off the cuff I will grab James Worthy and Bruce Bowen.

Another tough choice to make here but I figure Magic will often guard up a position or two so I want someone who I'm really comfortable with guarding 1s. That guy is:

Danny Green. Not sure how my rotations will work, might bring him off the bench or start Clyde at the 3 and Hawkins at the 4. I love his fit and what he brings to our group, with so many guys who are great with the ball in their hands I want an off-ball shooter and an elite defender. That's Danny in a nutshell.

Eh this is a tough one... been going back and forth for a while between 3 guys... if I miss out on the other 2 I'll regret this but I'll go:

Andre Iguodala

Still out, can somebody quote?

Kyrie Irving

Probably the most un-pelifan pick ever made by me. But weird talent pools can make you do weird things

One of the last lead guards in this pool that I feel confident in.

Tony Parker.

I'll take Dennis Johnson. One of the better defensive guards of all time and can play either 1 or 2.

I love playing small and this guy is perfect small ball 4 as he always covered the post guy not LeBron on the Heat. I'll take Shane Battier.

This guy is normally a lot more popular, but I guess the extra FGA for this year are scaring people off a bit. His shooting wasn't so great but offense as a whole was a real grind in this particular season, and he'll still draw attention just on the strength of his reputation. More importantly, he teams with Gilmore to provide a terrific defensive big man duo.
