Philadelphia would also like to make an offer for Thomas Bryant, a four year contract with the first two years being fully guaranteed. We believe Thomas has a tremendous future and think Philadelphia, a place where we prioritize player development over all else, is the perfect spot for him to reach his potential. While we think he will get a lot of time and development in the G-League, we also know he will see meaningful minutes in a Sixers uniform given Embiid is still likely to be on a restricted schedule.

Is this the hold-up on the Gasol deal being finalized? Because we would like to make a free agent offer if we're not making this trade.

The Miami Heat would like to offer Justin Holiday a 2 yr, 14 mil total contract (second year team option) to Justin Holiday so come in and compete to be our starting shooting guard and/or our lead combo guard off the bench. We also open to moving Dragic so a starting PG role is also possible.

What would you demand for Dragic? The Nuggets would offer Barton, Cam Oliver and their 2018 1st (Top-16 protected)

What is the Gasol deal? If you want to make your FA offer(s), then I may be able to take your place in the Gasol deal.

Do you still have Mudiay? We're not interested in Barton because if we trade Dragic, we're looking to do a quick rebuild by tanking to keep our pick this year and have oodles of cap space. Trading for Barton would mean having to pay him in a year.

Asik is going to take a lot to dump by himself. We would charge two 1sts alone because he would be completely dead money to us. Hill serves a purpose on our team. That is why I would take a top-20 protected first That would gradually become less protected.

With the stretch provision Asik would take $4 of your salary floor...

Omer Asik (3 Years)
17-18 - $10,595,505
18-19 - $11,286,516
19-20 - $11,977,527 (Only $3,000,000 Guaranteed)

Add the first two years and the 3M from the last year and you get $24,882,021.
The Stretch Provision is: (Money Owed) / [(Years Left) x 2 + 1).

His last year (19-20) should technically be a year seeing it's only partially guaranteed. That makes the spread of payment go over 7(!) years. Sure, the cap hit is only $3,554,575 per year, but that is over 7 years. That is a lot of time to get rid of a contract. My assumption is that my Kings will be fighting in the playoffs in the last 3-4 years of this payment, where we could really need that money. I have to charge your team if I am taking that contract off your books. If you don't like the payment of two 1sts, then I am open to a counter.

The Minnesota Timberwolves would like to offer Kyle Korver a 2 year deal starting at 9,489,091 with a max raise (I don't know what the percentage is) for year two. We feel Kyle Korver would be the ideal fit for us as the primary backup at the 2 and 3 spots. His deadly long range shooting would add much needed spacing for our offense.

We would also like to match Philadelphia's offer for Thomas Bryant. We feel that he's got good upside. While he will get his share of games in the D-league I think his development could be helped by practicing on a day to day basis with a team that should challenge for a playoff spot.

I“m in talks with another team about trading my 1st alongside Hill AND Moore so if you want that pick you have to take on both as well.

The Pelicans“ main goal right now is to get off as much cap as possible and everybody, except AD and Boogie, is available btw.

FWIW the Timberwolves would be interested in a S+T for Jrue Holiday.

Philadelphia would like to offer a two-way contract to Andrew Jones, undrafted PG. I do not know if those contracts are permitted to be longer than 1 year but we would like the maximum length possible.
