Actually I think it was the Magic pick that jolted me back to the 1980s. :lol:
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I really was hoping for duncan to fall.

But Garnett and Pierce at under 28 fga is an awesome start.

I also didn't particularly want to have both a PG and a C with my first two picks when those are the two deepest positions IMO. Yes in this draft every position is deep but still.
