At 13.5 fga, I think we'll see Hali in some of these games. I was considering that pair.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

It's actually 13.8, but yeah that's an amazing price. His defensive awareness and effort have looked a lot better to me in these playoffs, which was my major concern in previous years.

Starting to wonder about my own pick now with an additional drafter in the mix...

UP.

Definitely not the pick I'd typically go for in a draft like this but we'll see how it goes.

I had hoped it would get back to me tonight.

Sorry, there were too many picks left when I went to sleep, and it's difficult to leave an optimal list in a pairs draft

George and Manu are a very attractive pairing, thought they might even go down in the first round. Seriously considered them, but wanted Giannis at the end

PG/Manu was definitely in consideration for me. I decided I wanted the Klay/Steph synergy though, and I actually thought this was more of an approximation of the situation prime Dwight thrived in too.

Siakam developing into a legit outside shooter makes him someone I'm far more likely to consider in a regular draft. 15.2 is a bit steep for a non-superstar PF, but he fits well in a lot of builds now.

I almost took him in a recent pairs draft.

He’s more viable now for sure. I’ve tried using the Toronto version with limited success.

When did the pairs restriction become made a first team instead of multiple first teams? The idea was to rule out perennial MVP candidates being paired with each other, not with one-offs like PG.
