Im sorry you didn't like it but its true. Iverson can't even play aside Hamilton. He is like the best off ball player in the league. Shaqs personality is alot like Rasheeds imo. Shaqs a joke...

Re: BaNT Championship: Shaqsux vs. dcash 5-5. vote by wed night
dont want to vote for either since I don't think either team would have beaten mine, but im gonna have to give it to dcash since his team is more balanced, Kidd is useless with Lebron thus the reason for 14 mins... and Mo Williams isnt guarding Harris, Aldridge and Bynum are not guarding Nowitzki and O'Neal and putting Aldridge on Battier for defense is going to lead to Battier blowing buy him not taking the jumpshot that shaqsux believes he will take. Ben Gordon who dosent know what the word defense means is not guarding Redd.
Devin Harris > Mo Williams
Michael Redd > Ben Gordon
Shane Battier > Lamarcus Aldridge (Aldridge guarding Battier is not going to work)
Dirk Nowitzki < Lebron James (duh)
Shaquille O'Neal > Andrew Bynum
Devin Harris > Mo Williams
Michael Redd > Ben Gordon
Shane Battier > Lamarcus Aldridge (Aldridge guarding Battier is not going to work)

Shaquille O'Neal > Andrew Bynum

Re: BaNT Championship: Shaqsux vs. dcash 5-5. vote by wed night
To be fair, Kidd most certainly is still an upper tier defender. The thing that's being missed is that he isn't able to guard quick guards anymore. Which as I mentioned is a problem the second Redd goes to the bench.
And Shaq: w/r/t Lebron and his supporting Cast, Mo Williams made the all-star team this year, but if you look at his stats, he's not playing way above his previous levels. Z is playing the same regardless as you mentions, Wally is NOT playing better (But Delonte West is, you didn't mention bench players), Ben Wallace is playing better relative to his Bulls day, and Varejo hasn't even played without Lebron, so you can't really gauge that.
Like I said, these two teams are close enough for it to absolutely come down to the write-up. The biggest thing for me is LMA switching on D, mis-matched guards,

as a couple people have already noted, this boils down to a retooled mavs vs a retooled cavs. i'm not sold on the argument that battier/ak will contain lebron, especially considering neither individually has really been able to do so with lebron on a normal cavs. throw in the talent shaqsux has assembled here, and i think he narrowly takes it in a hard fought series.
shaqsux in 7.
ps: anyone give any weight to the fact that dirk always, always chokes?

Me and cash, are both swamped with things to do. We have decided to end this thing with a tie...
Being that there is only 2 possible voters left and only 1 of the 2 have been active we feel like we have reached the end of the voting. I have made 2 attempts myself to contact those 2 guys and have had no luck.
Thanks for all of the voters, especially the ones that voted for me. This was a tough series and a tie really shows you how well both teams were constructed and the amount of effort that we put into them.
Thanks Cash, you did an awesome job and it was fun. Thanks for picking up this game when its original manager left it to die off.
I look forward to playing more games with the rest of you.

great match shaqsux.
feel bad about the anti-climactic end, but we all tried our best given the circumstances.

How about going to the actual trade board mods for a tie breaker?

Re: BaNT Co-champions: Shaqsux and dcash4
Devin Harris (36) / Roger Mason (10)
Michael Redd (28) / Allen Iverson 20
Shane Battier (38) / Andres Nocioni (10)
Dirk Nowitzki (36) / Andrei Kirilenko (12)
Shaq O'neal (34) / Kurt Thomas (14)
Back-up: Mike Conley, Greg Oden
Jason Kidd (14) / Mo Williams(26) / Ben Gordon(8)
Ben Gordon (20) / Jason Kidd (16) / Mike Miller(12)
Lebron James(40) / Travis Outlaw(8) /
LaMarcus Aldridge (28) / Boris Diaw(20)
Andrew Bynum(30) / Erick Dampier(12) / LaMarcus Aldridge(6)
Back-up: Joakim Noah, JR Smith
For purposes of doing my opinion I will take out Conley, Oden, Noah and Smith in my analysis.
dcash's team
Harris, Redd and Dirk can easily score 20+ ppg on their own in efficient percentages against their counterparts. Battier will never be an a big offensive threat in this series. As for Shaq, he is old but assuming he is as healthy as he is right now in PHX, Bynum and Ericka will not be enough to stop Shaq. A bench of Mason, Iverson, Nocioni, Kurt Thomas and Kirilenko is decent but should not be enough to match that of ShaqSux.
ShaqSux's team
As mentioned, LBJ will be the One in this line-up. Kidd, Gordon, Aldridge and Bynum are good players to sorround LBJ though I would have wanted to see Gordon running the point and Miller starting at 2 then let Kidd and Williams off the bench. Bynum is sound defensively and has some offense too but I would say Shaq is just too much to hold for Bynum for now. As for the bench I like the idea of Williams, Outlaw and Diaw. Thats just too much to hold on.
Match-up:
Kidd/Gordon/Williams/Miller > Harris/Redd/Iverson/Mason - Tough call. Offensively dcash's combination has the superior advantage but if I have take into consideration there is only one ball I kinda see ShaqSux combination will do better. Slight advantate
LBJ/Outlaw > Battier/Nocioni - Loopsided even if Battier can limit LBJs production.
Dirk/Kirilenko > Aldridge/Diaw - Slight advantate
Shaq/Thomas > Bynum/Dampier - Slight advantange
If the teams will meet in a best of 7 game I would say, ShaqSux in 6.

Shaq-- I'm waiting on the Gm-A-Team game too. That's dominating 30 people's time. Once it ends I will start the actual game.

By the way, anyone who doesn't know Vintage is a good friend on here and I was just joking with him about " just sit back and a be a spectator". Vintage is and will always be a legend to RealGM, he is a finely polished moderator and a fierce competitor in these games.
