New York Selects Tyler Hansbrough, we welcome the very consistent young Tar Heel to the Knicks in the hopes that he will fill a very promising backup role off the bench for a nice long career.

The Thunder select Austin Daye, SF from Gonzaga.

A year ago he was a projected lottery pick at one point. We feel he has a lot of potential and could turn into a very good two way player for us.

The Washington Wizards are proud to select Gani Lawal from Georgia Tech.

He's an athletic beast, and for me is a lock to be at least a solid role player in this league.

Since San Antonio is quite a bit past his deadline; LAC (and only the LAC) can now make their selection.

WIth the 29th pick DET drafts DaJuan Summers out of Georgetown. His upside is worth me trading for the pick and we have time to let him develop.

With the 30th pick the Bobcats select

Small Forward out of Pitt - Sam Young

19.2 PPG 6.3 RPG 50% FG

He's the best player available at this point.

Also, there is only 4 hours between picks in the 2nd round; and if you are looking to speed things up with the draft, send me a list of players that you would want to draft
Ex. if #31 is up right now, you could send a list 1. player A 2. player B 3. player C 4. player D 5. player E

That way the draft will move along a little bit faster.

With the 33rd pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers select.....

DANNY GREEN

Solid defender, good size for a wing-man, solid shooter, and should develop into one of the better role players in the league.
