My team will be Team Snakebites, coached by Chuck Daly RIP.

EDIT: Damn you, Warspite, took Chuck Daly.

Hmm. I guess I'll take good ol' Pat Riley for my coach.

The email I set up for another draft that can serve this purpose is:

artiethestrongest@gmail.com

IM available on request if needed at some point.

Also, with 11 (or 12, if we get one more), how the heck would judging work? I would still recommend a pure snake style picking system. I don't think the drop off is bad enough, I think that massive reversal in Round 3 would make having one of the first few picks a considerable disadvantage.

I hope everyone who signed up plans on sticking with this. It could take a while.

People who have done drafts like this: Did you just snake all the way (with reverse draft order every other time) or did you modify it in any way? Did it seem like people with the first few picks had an advantage?

The OP mentioned modifying the snake for the third round to negate the "advantage" that the first few picks get, but I think thats a bad idea and uneccesary. There isn't a massive dropoff after the first few picks, and even if there was, then you're killing the people who would have the picks right after the dropoff.

^Lol.

That message was sent quite some time ago (over a week, I think) and I had forgotten it was you I sent it to.

No worries, but you never have a justification for that type of behavior. A suspension will be on the table if you do that on a board of mine again, though.

That would be too steep an asking price for the Jazz to pay for Prince, but do keep in mind that Tay is our small forward (and we have no other viable options there, while we already have a power forward). Also bare in mind he's our last good defensive player.

We've now got 13 people. I'd like to get 3 more, and then we'll work out all the specifics of this and get things started. Also, we still need judges (unless everyone would prefer the participants do the judging,, which could also work), and I'd also like someone to help me run this, because I'm going to be busy next week. I'll still be active enough to make my picks, and then some, but it would be nice to have a helper.
