The Phx suns select allstar Tyrone Hill

The Suns now add the missing bigman that can play uptempo as well. T Hill is 2nd in the NBA in reb rate and is the missing piece the team needs to compete.

Ok I'll take Shawn Bradley

Image

Not the best player left, and has a pretty hard contract to swallow, but I'm basically set at every position except center, and the one thing my team lacks is shotblocking. Bradley is arguably the best shotblocker in the NBA (highest block %, 2nd in bpg) and is very young, providing me with a defensive prescence down low. He may get dunked on far too often for his own good, but Stockton and Malone can pay anyone back with some well placed elbows and grabs. This essentially completes my roster, though I am still looking to improve through trades.

At this stage in the draft probably best to just take talent wherever you can get it.

With that, the San Antonio Spurs select Tom Gugliotta with the final pick of the first round.

We are pleased to add another talented and fairly versatile forward to the team.

Voshon Lenard, think he's eligible to be selected, was drafted by the Bucks in 94, but never played that season, so I'd assume they'd have his rights considering they waived him a year later? If not eligible, I'll make another pick..

Looking to package this pick and Billy Owens (and maybe a future pick, as well) for Billy Owens. Anyone interested?

P.S. I'm off to bed now, so please don't let my pick hold up the game. I'm fine with those behind me being on the clock, as well.

With that being said.

There are future allstars still on the board and some truely great players. I however am in win now mode and I feel that winning a Championship is more impaortant than anything else. Since 15 of 20 GMs are trying to get one of the 4 lottery picks Ill take my chances with winning today and ill pay the lux tax next yr galdly with a Larry O Brian trophy

The Denver Nuggets select

Mark Price

If denied wants him Ill pick Isiah Rider

Mark Price allows me to move Dumars to SG, Rauf to 6th man and have a current/former/future allstar at every position. It also gives me 15mil in exprieings next yr. of course I need the PG depth since Pack only plays 38 games and Price 7 games nex yr.

lets spped this up, if people can not make a pick after being on the clock for hours, players should be assigned to them. At this rate, this game will be going into the 2015 NBA Finals

My question to Sabas was if we could sign NBA players that didn't have a contract in 1994-1995 season. Like if we were doing Modern GM a Team, would I be able to sign Allan Houston?

If so, I will change my pick out of Price/Rider.

The contraction draft is to select players who have current contracts or are property of a defunct team. The player you want is a FA and you cant draft FAs. Why not make your pick and then sign your player to FA conrtact???? Its not like anyone else wants him.

Well technically if my Voshon Lenard pick counts, he was drafted in 94, but not paid during the 94-95 season, so I assumed the Bucks would have his rights, and no one has complained yet, though he's not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things and becomes a FA after this half-season anyway, lol.
