/nod, but knowing what we know now and what sort of player he turns into (and the raised cap) I'd expect a pretty large increase.

I believe we will still be follwing the CBA from that year and a 3rd year FA can not get crazy priced until the 6th year I believe. I know the max contract for a 4th year player will start at $9,660,000. I need to look up what a 3rd year player would be, but I am sure it is alot less

It's based off the percentage of the cap, since the cap is drastically higher (70m), the salaries can climb a lot higher.

Tough, but I'm not going to risk losing him and it may be a reach here..I'm trying to build a defensive monster so I'm taking the greatest perimeter defender of this decade...Bruce Bowen. He will fit nicely beside pp at the sg slot.

Artest, Battier, and the tale end of Payton's career say hi. So does early 2000s Kobe.

Meh. I'll take Bowen over Artest(off court issues) and Payton isn't a full decade guy. I agree that the other two are comparable.

Looks like he was. Giving him til noon CST to make his pick, and it can be either of the two players already picked if they were on his radar (which I doubt) since TOR gave him less than three hours.

Pick. He can pick when he gets here, but only from the pooled players left. It's been forteen hours.
