DET pick up Jermareo Davidson (min contract), and then have a trade to announce with LAC contingent on the DAL trade going through.

daniels = $6,864,200
davidson = $422,725
udoka = $1,080,000
DAL 2011 1st rounder pick
TOTAL = 8,655,717
8,655,717 * 1.25 + 100k = $10,919,646.25

for

Miller = $10,333,333

We get our PG and will have his bird rights. Our team is upgraded and is now a able to beat NO out west, we think.

Miller/Rip/Pierce/Dirk/Okafor with a solid bench.

GS Accept. We are sad to see those 2 second round picks go as we could use those for our rebuilding, we shed some salary, so it works out for us.

for

Dirk Nowitzki $17,178,100 3
Jason Terry $9,696,000 4
Brandon Bass $826,269 1

We lose West/Nash and are sorry to see them go, but we get a superstar in Dirk to pair up with Pierce and Rip. We also get a solid 6th man and a pick.

Nice dealin', I confirm, sad to see both Dirk, Jet and Bass go, but unfortunately, I wont hang with Bass for long, plus I receive 2 all-star players, Steve Nash can still do some work, and David West is actually a decent go-to guy, 21 PPG and 8 REB or so, and I get Matt Bonner, who's doing nice in the real Spurs and get a filler in Mccants.

BTW, to the commish, I wanna know if this was approved:

Warriors Send:
Corey Maggette $8,275,862

Mavericks Send:
Mark Blount $8,513,916
Kyle Lowry $1,163,520

Math works:
GS outgoing = $8,275,862 * 1.25 + 100,000 < GS incoming = $9,677,436

Thanks.

LA Accepts. We are trying to groom DeAndre Jordan for the future and needed a PF to compliment him, we get that with Diaw. Although Kaman's shot blocking, rebounding and post game will be badly missed, we had to do it in order to proceed with our rebuilding.

Detroit trades the TPE created in the (J.Smith/Pierce deal) for R.Butler (3.63)

then they announce a second deal where
minnesota trades
T.Allen (2.5)
to Detroit for
Hermann (2)

Minnesota is simply looking to get as much money as possable to use on who ever they want this offseason or next. We feel that our foundation along with 2 very high 1st rounders will make superstars consider our money in free agency

DET accepts. We are sad to see Hermann go but this is something we needed to do. We are glad to bolster our bench, we needed a SG/SF that could spread the floor and hit the 3 at a high%. Butler fits the bill. Allen gives us more defense and is a guy that will drive fearlessly and can really spark our offense with level of energy and his constant trips to the FT line.

The Miami Heat and Washington Wizards have agreed to a two part trade:

Part 1

Miami Sends:

Brad Miller-$11,375,000
Darius Songaila-$4,234,000
Kareem Rush-$797,581
James Singleton-$797,581
2011 1st

Total: $17,204,162

Washington Sends:

Jermaine O'Neal-$21,372,000

Math Works: $17,204,162 x 1.25 + $100,000 = $21,605,203 > $21,372,000

Part 2

Washington sends: Darius Songaila

Miami sends: TPE worth $4,234,000

Miami accepts. We need post presence and JO doesn't interfere with our post 2010 plans. At the very least he is still a quality defender and decent scorer.

Wizards accept and waive Singleton and Rush immediately to get to the roster limit. The Wiz save about $17M in the deal over the next two years, Miller brings the same veteran savvy and the 1st/TPE are just extras.

The Butler trade won't work since DET doesn't have the TPE was thought we did.
Instead we announce:
Hermann

for

Allen

We like Allen as a bench guy and will pursue Butler later on.
