The Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers have agreed upon a deal.

First, the Suns would like to waive Darius Songaila prior to the trade. He'll take the cap hit/hold, as he expires tomorrow. Putting him at 13 players.

Suns Outgoing:
Caron Butler ($10,561,960)
Total: ($10,561,960)

Suns Incoming:
Anthony Parker ($2,855,769)
Deshawn Stevenson ($4,151,786)
Courtney Lee ($1,352,640)
Total: ($8,360,195) (Takes on Less then sends out, works)

13 players minus 1 player = 12 players + 3 players = 15 players.
(Stay with me here)

Bulls Outgoing:
Anthony Parker ($2,855,769)
Deshawn Stevenson ($4,151,786)
Courtney Lee ($1,352,640)
Joe Smith ($854,389)
Total: ($9,214,584) x 1.25 % + 100,000 = $11,618,230 (Max incoming)

Bulls Incoming:
Caron Butler ($10,561,960)
Total: ($10,561,960) (Less the Max Incoming)

15 players - 4 players + 1 player = 12 players.

Lakers Outgoing:
Nothing

Lakers Incoming:
Joe Smith ($854,389). Works as it's minimum.

Why for Chicago?
We hate losing Courtney Lee, because we felt with his age, he was the perfect fit with Derrick Rose. But, We like Caron (even though hes technically injured right now) in our starting lineup. We feel that next year we can resign him to a fair deal, and he would love to play for Chicago, which is close to him home town in Racine, Wisconsin. This is exactly the kind of deal we have been looking for. Good dealing boys!

LA Accepts.

We regret giving away Joe Smith so cheaply earlier on, he's averaging a career low 1 point (22%) and 1.7 rebounds this season so should have a huge impact off the bench for us.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

The Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns have agreed upon a trade.

The Suns trade Andre Miller ($7,269,264), and Julian Wright ($2,858,057) in exchange for Dominique Jones ($1,110,120) and Caron Butler ($10,561,960).

Suns Incoming/Mavs Outgoing: $10,127,321 = $12,659,151
Mavs Outgoing/Suns Incoming: $11,672,080

Deal Works!

We like to make deals, pick up a prospect for swapping of potential EXP's (likely would have waived Miller, as he doesn't truly fit in our long term plans).

Dallas accepts, with Caron being done, we wanted someone that could play. getting another PG has been a priotity for RL Dallas as well as mine, and Dre could help take alot of the load off of JKidd. Another goal reached :)

Trade #115
Timberwolves trade: martell Webster($4,800,000)
Lac trade:rasual butler($2,400,000), roger mason($1,400,000),Brian Cardinal MIN

Timberwolves accept. We've been tryin to get out of Websters deal and we finally get expirings for him. He's a nice bench player but he was expendable with cj miles waiting.

Suns accept the LAL/CHI deal. Kind of a spur of the moment thing, wish we could have gotten more, but get a backup SG in Lee, whom we like with his defense and shooting.

The Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets have agreed upon a deal.

The Nuggets send Vladimir Radmanovic ($6,883,800) in exchange for Mike Bibby ($5,764,767).

Deal Works!

Suns accept, we really don't know if we want to go a capspace route tbh, but Bibby doesn't fit in our plans, and some financial flexibility is nice.

The Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed upon a trade.

The Suns trade Deshawn Stevenson ($4,151,786) and Carlos Delfino ($3,500,000) in exchange for Steve Blake ($4,000,000) and Patrick Patterson ($1,823,280).

Suns accept, we just cleared up some cap with the other move to take on Blake's contract, and get a nice prospect in Patterson.

Timberwolves accept. Delfino is a nice shooting guard, but we mainly did this deal to free ourselves of a point guard who was completely un-needed. We had to ship out Patterson too, but we're very happy to get some expirings and clear ourselves of all but one contract that we don't have in our future plans.

Before this trade happens we sign Nathan Jawai to a min contract and trade for Cardinal for nothing.

We need a semi healthy backup at SG/SF and Martell expires in 2012 which is what our aspirations/goals are leading to, AKA 2012 FA. :)

LAC accepts

Cook was not a min player, only min players that are waived will be signed. You need the cap space or leftover MLE money if you wish to sign Cook to the contract he was getting

trade # 118

Dallas and Minny have agreed on a trade (contingent on both our other deals being approved)

Dallas sends
Julian Wright ($2,858,057)
Denver 2011 2nd
2,858,057 x 1.25% + 100,000 = 3,672571

Wolves send
Carlos Delfino ($3,500,000)

Dallas does this simply to add a wing that can shoot and rebound to our bench

T-wolves accept. We do this just to pick up another asset in the draft. Delfino wasn't going to be back next year so we just get another expiring.

LA Lakers and Philly 76ers have agreed a trade.

LA Lakers Trade

Kenyon Martin $16,545,454
Trevor Ariza $6,322,320
Leon Powe $854,389
2012 ATL 1st
Total = $23,722,163

Philadelphia 76ers Trade

David Lee $10,800,000
Drew Gooden $5,765,000
DeShawn Stevenson $4,151,786
Nick Young $2,630,503
Total = $23,347,289

Why for LA? We get the backup PF/C we've been after in David Lee, get a good scoring guard in Young, at the sacrifice of our backup defender (Ariza) and Gooden's contract. In terms of cementing the strength of my bench though, I feel it's worth it :)

GUYS, hold up on this trade. I have gotten a few vetoes now on this deal, I am just waiting till I can talk with Miller to let him decide on this deal. Both vetoes think PPhilly is being taken advantage of here, sotrade is on HOLD till Miller decides. I am sure he will talk to the teams to come up with a fair deal

sorry guys

Seriously? I didn't even approach Philly about the deal. Not ideal on deadline day either, I already have one, maybe 2 moves linked to this.
