This was a tough decision for Minnesota. All along, we've said that Kevin Love is the closest thing to untouchable on our roster. However, after looking it over, we still lacked that number one scoring option. By accepting this deal, we feel like that void is now filled, and now we can focus on other areas of our team, such as improving the frontcourt bench players.

Minnesota accepts, and looks forward to witnessing the development of Eric Gordon as one of the best young shooting guards in the game today.

The Bulls accept, we're sad to lose Barbosa, but in Bibby, we feel we get a better fit, one whom is more a natural PG, and a very good shooter from distance. We also shave roughly 1-2M of payroll for next season, as Bibby's contract reduces, giving us more flexibility to make moves in the future. Claver's potential will be missed, but he was never apart of our future plans with his caphold.

Why for Houston?
We REALLY wanted a legit center next to Boozer. Giving up Battier's leadership and all the small things he does on a good team really kills me, but we have Prince who is VERY similar and younger. Chandler is almost a perfect defensive fit next to Boozer. The picks mean nothing to me as they never have and never will. Rodrigue Beaubois will fill in as our primary back up 1/2 guard as he is young and fits what we are trying to do......Parker / JR Smith / Prince / Boozer / Chandler......gives me a very solid five with good D and good O....with great team ball. Good dealing with you Dallas and about time you answered!
