The Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz have agreed to the following:

Utah will send:

Mehmet Okur - 9,000,000
Juwan Howard - 825,497

Total: 9,825,947 x 1.25 + 125,000 = 12,407,434 > 12,325,750

for

Marcin Gortat - 5,854,000
Grant Hill - 3,000,000
Jannero Pargo - 1,990,000
Portland 2011 first -
BYC 9,398,750
True Total 12,325,750

Deal Works!

I'm a fan of Okur's game and really like what he brings to the table. Orlando accepts

Milwaukee and Orlando have agreed to a deal:

Josh Howard (10,890,000)

for

Tyrus Thomas ($4,743,598) and Amir Johnson ($3,941,667) = $8,685,265 x 1.25 + $100,000 = $10,956,813

Deal Works

Why? We make room for Rudy Gay and pick up a couple young PFs to possibly add to our core.

Yeah That is great. Save a bit of coin on Memos long contract and pick up a better inside player, a savvy vet, a goor role player and a pick.

Raja Bell wasn't doing much for us. We like Korver's ability to shoot from the arc and feel with Evans attacking the basket, Korver will be getting many open shots. His high percentage for 3pt shots will translate to many points.
Summers was an added bonus.

I know i know we just did this trade and now were trading the same players again. We were both bored and decided to make the same deal. I have a few offers on the table for battier and AK gives me the option to put him at small forward something martin cant do. So anyways Houston accepts.

Denver accepts. Too many combo forwards, so we get back a guy who can play a little bit of C when we go small ball.

there has been a veto request on this trade.

just kidding

Trade approved.

PHI cuts Hunter before this deal. PHI and MIN have a blockbuster to announce.

Yi Jianlian - $3,194,400
Eric Gordon - $2,819,880

for

Kevin Love - 3,401,040
Wayne Ellington - 1,078,800
Sasha Pavlovic - 1,500,000

We secure the best young frontcout in the league in terms of both talent and fit. Love is putting up 15/12, and we feel that beside a natural center in Marc Gasol he will thrive. We get a stopgap at SG, and although it was tough to let go of Gordon, we will look to add a more permanent starter at SG later on..

This was a tough decision for Minnesota. All along, we've said that Kevin Love is the closest thing to untouchable on our roster. However, after looking it over, we still lacked that number one scoring option. By accepting this deal, we feel like that void is now filled, and now we can focus on other areas of our team, such as improving the frontcourt bench players.

Minnesota accepts, and looks forward to witnessing the development of Eric Gordon as one of the best young shooting guards in the game today.

Charlotte and Philadelphia have agreed upon a trade:

Speedy Claxton $5,209,454
Jason Collins $825,497
for
Carlos Delfino $3,500,000
DJ White $1,036,440
James Johnson $1,594,080

$6.04M x 1.25 > $6.13M

Charlotte accepts. I'm not going to be a big player in 2010 and this deal increases my depth while adding some young players. Chuckfino is only guaranteed for $500K next season anyways and he's actually been very productive as of late.

Confirmed. We clear enough caproom for two max free agents this upcoming offseason, while keeping our core pieces intact.

2010 Cap Space

$27,516,766

Not that I care that much since I'm not going after FA's.. but isn't enough for two max guys between 32-34 mil?

EDIT: Nvm, just saw your roster wasn't updated with this trade (duh, why would it be).

Prior to the three way, the Bulls and Hawks have agreed upon a deal.

The Bulls send Josh Powell, and Salim Stoudamire in exchange for nothing. DEAL WORKS as both of them are minimum contracts.

Then...

The Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic, and Atlanta Hawks have agreed upon a trade.

The Bulls send Leandro Barbosa ($6,600,000), and the rights to Victor Claver in exchange for Mike Bibby ($6,217,617), and Randolph Morris ($855,189).

TOTAL OUTGOING: $6,600,000
TOTAL INCOMING: $7,072,806

Deal Obviously Works!

The Magic send Brandon Rush (1,934,160), and Brad Miller (12,250,000) in exchange for Joe Smith ($825,497), rights to Victor Claver, Leandro Barbosa ($6,600,000), and Marvin Williams ($7,500,000).

TOTAL OUTGOING: $14,184,160
TOTAL INCOMING: $14,925,497

Deal Obviously Works!

The Hawks send Marvin Williams (3,7500,00 - BYC), Mike Bibby ($6,217,617), Joe Smith ($825,497), and Randolph Morris ($855,189) in exchange for Brad Miller (12,250,000), and Brandon Rush (1,934,160).

TOTAL OUTGOING: $11,648,303 X 1.25 = $14,660,378
TOTAL INCOMING: $14,184,160 << $14,660,378

Deal Obviously Works!

The Bulls accept, we're sad to lose Barbosa, but in Bibby, we feel we get a better fit, one whom is more a natural PG, and a very good shooter from distance. We also shave roughly 1-2M of payroll for next season, as Bibby's contract reduces, giving us more flexibility to make moves in the future. Claver's potential will be missed, but he was never apart of our future plans with his caphold.

OKC Gets:
Right's to Josh Childress
2010 Houston 2nd
2010 Atlanta 2nd

Atlanta Gets:
2010 Portland 1st

Reason is i like Josh Childress and feel he can add something to the team in the future.

Houston and Dallas have agreed to a substantial deal.

Houston OUT/Dallas IN:

Shane Battier $6,939,200
Joel Przybilla $6,857,725
2010 second round draft pick from Phoenix
2011 second round draft pick from Memphis
Total: $13,796,925

Dallas OUT/Houston IN:

Rodrigue Beaubois $1,075,440
Tyson Chandler $11,700,000
Total: $12,775,440

Salaries work

Why for Houston?
We REALLY wanted a legit center next to Boozer. Giving up Battier's leadership and all the small things he does on a good team really kills me, but we have Prince who is VERY similar and younger. Chandler is almost a perfect defensive fit next to Boozer. The picks mean nothing to me as they never have and never will. Rodrigue Beaubois will fill in as our primary back up 1/2 guard as he is young and fits what we are trying to do......Parker / JR Smith / Prince / Boozer / Chandler......gives me a very solid five with good D and good O....with great team ball. Good dealing with you Dallas and about time you answered! :D
