Caron Butler - 9,780,970

9,780,970 x 1.25 = 12226212.5 > 11,754,250

Deal Works

While we'll miss the younger Marvin Williams and the savvy Delonte, we're excited to add someone like Butler to our team. He gives us solid scoring at the 3 and leadership as well. Magic accept!

Deal 2

Washington sends:

Jason Kapono - 6,212,960

for Orlando's TPE.

We need more shooting and we get it in Kapono. Magic accept

Agreed. Washington hates to give up a star like Butler. While Marvin Williams is not as productive as Butler he is taller and more athletic. West is a good combo guard and the picks are a chance to give add young talent.

I think Utah has this pick?

Well Miami may be screwing up our chance to land a MAx FA by doing this deal but really like teaming Wade with Gay. I think I payed alot for a RFA and huge cap hold, but think it was woth it for us and our future. We really didn't want to part with Collison but we had to. This should make DWade happy.

Sac has been after Dudley for a while now, we wish him lots of luck!

We will need to sign someone from the NBDL but will announce once commish ok's the signing (email will be sent!)

Sacramento Cuts Sean May Not and Ime Udoka,

Sacramento accepts as long as Najera is has an unguaranteed contract (which shamsports says yes)

Sacramento, you have to clarify if you are doing the deal or not please.

Najeras contract is not fully unguaranteed.

hes entitled to 2.5 million and 2.25 million the next two seasons after this one.

only 500k of his contract is not guaranteed.

from the look of what you said you seem to believe you can cut him for nothing.

from my views this would make the trade void since Najera is not Unguaranteed.

Since Sac is not accepting Nejera's partially guaranteed deal (which I told him in the trade offer), I have moved on and subtracted him from the deal. here is the new deal!

The Heat, Bucks and Suns have agreed to a deal

Bucks send
Gay $3,280,997
Nejera $3,000,000 totals: $6,280,997

Bucks get
D.Collison $1,266,120
Hassell $4,350,000 totals: $5,616,120 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $7,120,150 > $6,280,997
2010 Miami 1st
conditional 2010 N.O. 2nd (only if this pick does not habe to be given to NJ because of the Tor 1st's protection)

--------------

Suns give
J. Howard $10,890,000

Suns get
D.Fisher $5,048,000
Nejera $3,000,000
J.Anthony $825,497 totals: $8,873,497 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $11,191,871 > $10,890,000

---------------------

Heat give
D.Collison $1,266,120
Hassell $4,350,000
D.Fisher $5,048,000
J.Anthony $825,497 totals: $11,489,617 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $14,462,021
2010 Miami 1st
conditional 2010 N.O. 2nd (only if this pick does not habe to be given to NJ because of the Tor 1st's protection)

Heat get
Gay $3,280,997
J.Howard $10,890,000 totals: 14,170,997

Plus JHo gives us flexability with him being a TO for next season.

We needed to sign someone from the NBDL so we went ahead and signed our good friend pat carroll to a unguaranteed rookie deal. We truely believe that he has what it takes to make it in the league and think this could be the opertunity he was waiting for when he decided to stay in the states this season.

Phoenix does the deal to land an experience PG to mentor Lawson, and a great Shotblocking Center in Joel Anthony. Howard was not in our plans anyway, and we believe the roster is now almost complete.

Phoenix Accepts.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Miami Heat have agreed to a deal

Miami Trades:
Jermaine O'Neal - $23,016,000
Chuck Hayes - $2,147,500
Total - 25,163,500

Minnesota Trades:
Brendan Haywood - $6,000,000
Etan Thomas - $7,906,088
Mark Blount - $7,967,375
Total - 21,873,463 (*1.25 = 27,341,828)

We were very worried about losing Haywood in free agency. We bring in O'Neal, an experienced veteran who we feel will be easier to resign. We also get Hayes, a young, cheap big who will provide much needed depth down low.

Miami accepts! haywood was one of our top targets in Free Agency and after the Gay move we may not have the cap space we originally thought, so getting him in South Beach now was something we wanted to do. Breaking up JO's exp into some smaller pieces may help in future trades. It sucks that we had to include Hayes but you got to give something to get the players you want.
Plus this deal gets me back under the tax which ownership appreciates.

Sorry guys the original trade with Miami Milwaukee, and Sacramento is going to stand. Sacramento has emailed me and stated that he accepts it with Najeras partially guaranteed deal.

Come on now be fair, all he did was ask for clarification on the Najeras contract, he never declined the trade (on the boards anyways). You guys cut him out it seems without his knowledge, I don't see how he's being a pain.

OK, despite Heat's comments stating otherwise, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in this scenario, however its still a recurring theme, given the 'joke' trades he did before and his sarcasm at every trade offer made.

how can the first trade stand if it wasn't fully accepted before both the other two gm's moved on? many gm's have backed out of trades even though it was already posted on the principle that the other party hadn't accepted yet.

this was a hard decision to make.

You may hate me or be pissed but thats the way its going to be.

here is the order of what happened.

First deal was posted. 4:00pm
- sac said in the deal
Sacramento Cuts Sean May Not and Ime Udoka,

Sacramento accepts as long as Najera is has an unguaranteed contract (which shamsports says yes)

- a GM messages me with concern over this.
- I look at it and email Sac and ask if he still is doing the deal.
- a GM asks me if he can look for other trades since the deal looks void
- I look at the deal and say yes, since Sac was going the deal ONLY if Najera was unguaranteed to me it suggested it did not want to do the deal with Najeras contract.
- 2nd deal is posted. 9:40PM my time
- Sacramento emails me back at 1:30 am my time (im in bed)
- get the email at 6:30 am before i go to work and post he accepts it and that the first deal with Najeras contract and that it will go through.

I will take full responsibility for this.

heres my final decision

Since I told the GM to look for a new deal because the Original trade was void. The 2nd Deal will go through.

The first deal is VOID, if sac knew that Najeras contract was guaranteed (which he did, I have the logs of conversation) then there was no need for him to post he was only doing the deal if it was unguaranteed.

Im sorry to everyone involved.

feel free to bicker/complain/yell all you want at me.

Wait what?

You said you weren't sure if he was partially guaranteed or not.

" thesambone he is like 3 mil (2.5 guaranteed I believ)"

I simply wanted to make sure what you told me was true.

I responded to your email and Mascots email, confirming that I would do the deal if it was $2.5 and not the full $3
