Any team already in cap hell need frontcourt help? Chuck Hayes is your man. He gives you great rebounding, defense, and passing. Have an unproductive player on an expiring? I'll take him. I'll even throw in 2nd rounders.

Can anyone tell me how player options will be handled in the offseason? Are they automatically picked up or what?

Also, looking to move either Mahinmi or Hawes + Stephenson or Nick Young for an upgrade at SG + and a PF

That will be determined right before free agency by the person running FA (BlackIce). From previous games, about 90% of the time, if the player can get more than what he's currently making, in free agency, then they'll usually opt out. If their market value is much lower, then they'll opt in. For example, nobody in their right mind is going to offer Ben Gordon 13.5M next year (his contract next year), so I'm about 99% sure he'll opt in (unless he's really that grumpy in Charlotte). You decide on team options any time before free agency and after the season's over.
