Re: **Official Gm a Team trades/transactions Thread**
The Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic have agreed on a trade
The Magic will send
PG Steve Blake - 4,250,000
SG Nick Young - 1,602,960
Totaling = 5,852,960 x 1.25 = 7,316,200 > 6,864,200
Phoenix will send
Hedo Turkoglu - 6,864,200
The Orlando Magic are thrilled to reacquire Hedo Turkoglu. He brings the playmaking skills, clutch shooting and veteran poise that our second unit will need. With Javaris Crit on our team we decided that blake was expendable and although Nick Young is an awesome talent, he's not what our team needs at the present time. We wish both much success in Phoenix.

Suns accept this deal. Hard to admit we are overpaying in this deal but we like the young talent and potential in nick young. Blake is a serviceable point guard that could help boost our line-up. We also dont have sufficient cap space to resign hedo next year so better get return now than nothing at all. This is also part of our youth movement. We are happy to see Hedo rejoin his former team.
That said we are waiving Sean Marks unguaranteed min deal to cut our line-up to 14.

Tell me this isn't the reason the Orlando/Dallas trade was reneged...

Re: **Official Gm a Team trades/transactions Thread**
The Knicks and Orlando Magic have agreed to a minor trade. The Knicks trade Luther Head to the Orlando Magic for their 2010 second rounder and a portion of the Orlando Magic's 3.3 million dollar trade exception.
The Knicks made this trade for flexibility. Head wouldn't have had much of a role on this team and since we cannot send players to the D-league he would spend all of his time on the inactive list. I don't think that's fair to him so I decided to send him somewhere he would have a slightly better chance to play while freeing up a roster spot in case I make a 2 for 1 deal in the future. Another future pick doesn't hurt either.

The Orlando Magic accept this deal. You can never have enough shooters on your team and Luther Head is a nice one to have. His ability to play both backcourt spots should make him a nice asset to this team.

The Orlando Magic and New York Knicks have agreed to trade
Zaza Pachulia 4,000,000
Cedric Simmons 1,742,760
for 5,742,760 x 1.25= 7,178,450 > 6,864,200
Marquis Daniel - 6,864,200
The Orlando Magic are thrilled to add Daniels to our team. He gives us another ball handler and slasher that we need. And with Turkgolu possibly opting out, he gives us somewhat of a insurance policy.

Although I hate to give up an expiring owned by a quality player I desperately needed depth in my front court.

No it doesn't. I traded Luther Head for a TE days b4 this deal was made. I don't need to cut anyone.

^^He waived Kenny Thomas ages ago, his salary might be on the books, but the player is not.
