Phoenex Suns trade:

SG/F - Tracy McGrady - $22,483,124

Orlando Magic trade:

SG/SF - Josh Howard - $10,890,000
SG/PG - Leandro Barbosa - $6,600,000
SG/SF - Jason Kapono - $6,212,960

= Total = $23,702,960

Why for Phoenix? T-Mac was never going to be in our long-term plans, and undoubtedly is going to attract a silly offer from somewhere in free agency. In this deal I bring back Barbosa, a player who I'm a big fan of, and someone who can fit in my long-term plans as a combo guard. Howard also expires so I won't be taking a big cap hit next year, and despite his recent struggles I feel he can offer something as a 10th option. Kapono is the necessery evil for this trade to work, but again his contract only runs through to 2011 and I can always look to move him separately.

Phoenix Accepts

Magic accept. Low risk high reward deal for us. We think Mac is finally healthy and should be able to contribute.

While we'll miss the younger Marvin Williams and the savvy Delonte, we're excited to add someone like Butler to our team. He gives us solid scoring at the 3 and leadership as well. Magic accept!

Deal 2

Washington sends:

Jason Kapono - 6,212,960

We need more shooting and we get it in Kapono. Magic accept

PHI and LA have a minor trade to annouce.

Ricky Davis - $2,400,000
Sasha Pavlovic - 1,500,000

for

Chris Wilcox - $3,000,000
Ike Diogu - $825,497

We add a nice backup big in Wilcox who compliments our bigs nicely, its worth the 3 mill in 2010 caproom.

This was mainly a cost cutting move for us as we plan on bringing in a legit 3rd big come FA. This will help ensure the team salary will not hit 100mil in 2010/11.

Doesn't Vujacic make somewhere in the 5 million range? just asking that's what it says on his ESPN profile.

Well Miami may be screwing up our chance to land a MAX FA by doing this deal but really like teaming Wade with Gay. I think I payed alot for a RFA and huge cap hold, but think it was woth it for us and our future. We really didn't want to part with Collison or J.Anthony but we had to. This should make DWade happy. Plus JHo gives us flexability with him being a TO for next season.

We needed to sign someone from the NBDL so we went ahead and signed our good friend pat carroll to a unguaranteed rookie deal. We truely believe that he has what it takes to make it in the league and think this could be the opertunity he was waiting for when he decided to stay in the states this season.

Phoenix does the deal to land an experience PG to mentor Lawson, and a great Shotblocking Center in Joel Anthony. Howard was not in our plans anyway, and we believe the roster is now almost complete.

Phoenix Accepts.

We were very worried about losing Haywood in free agency. We bring in O'Neal, an experienced veteran who we feel will be easier to resign. We also get Hayes, a young, cheap big who will provide much needed depth down low.

The Orlando Magic and Sacramento Kings have agreed to the following deal.

Orlando will send:

Mehmet Okur - 9,500,000
Rudy Fernandez - 1,165,320
Total: 10,665,320

Sacramento will send:

Kenny Thomas - 8,775,000
Jason Thompson - 2,035,920
Total: 10,810,920

Deal Works!

We give up more talent in this deal but save some cash for FA. Like we said in our previous deal, we think Tmac is ready to take over at SG for our team and this solidifies our decision. Jason Thompson is a really solid addition to our team and we expect big things from him in the future. Magic Accept

Sacramento hates Orlando with a fiery passion for taking JT away...but We like the prospect and futures of a Evans/Fernedez/Casspi lineup.

The Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings have agreed to the following trade.

The Indiana Pacers send:
SG/SF Quentin Richardson $8,700,000

Sacramento Kings Trade:
PF Nick Collison $6,250,000
C Sean May $825,497
2012 1st Round Pick (Top 10 Protected)

While the Pacers do regret trading away Quentin Richardson, who provides with enormous cap flexibilty this summer, we feel that acquiring Nick Collison is a steady veteran big to help out our younger bigs. We also pick up a first round pick in this deal, so the Pacers do like this deal.

*The Indiana Pacers immediately cut Sean May.*

Sacramento Accepts.

Sacramento has other big men in mind and did not consider Collison part of the future plans. Although losing a pick is tough, we feel that Q.Rich provides us with better opportunities.

sorry Indiana, your gonna have to cut someone first or include someone else in the trade. This would put u at 16.
