PHX 2009 pick

We give up a 2010 expiring and two guys that can start on most teams, and we really like Bass as a young guy off the bench. That being said we get a guy that is still a top tier center in Shaq and a pick in this draft. We have a two headed monster at C now, with Shaq/Okafor and with Dirk at the PF spot we like our our frontcourt quite a bit.

Egh. Ok after much consideration I've decided to voluntarily void the trade myself. My main reason is that if I end up winning my cat I don't want people to point to this trade and say that my success is due to another..questionable GM giving away their assets. Also I agree I gave up a lot less then I got but isn't that the point of the game? Make the best trades you can? Still if I saw this trade with another two GM's I might veto it.

Also you guys are complain a lot about this trade but Gasol was traded for Mo Willams and Turk (a guy that can walk this offseason). Isn't that more questionable and more lopsided in terms of value then this trade, I didn't see public veto requests after that one. Anyways the trade is void. Richardson and Harrington are back on the block.

^^ i was gonna veto the gasol trade also. he told me the only way he would trade gasol was for bosh or dwight. and then he gets mo and hedo? lol im not gonna complain about any deal though any more. Alot of GM's say one thing and stick to it hard for about 1 day and then do the exact opposite. Its disgusting. But if a lopsided deal goes through from now on, so be it, i wont veto anything anymore. Its the own GM's fault from now on to me. I also offered WAY better deals for gasol. no offense veges. last time im gonna complain about anything on here. Nothing more but trades, and players for sale signs.

I am not offended don't worry, my problem with JordanL wasn't the fact that my offer was better, was the fact that he said he had NO better offers, and the fact he lied about my offer to justify his argument.

Since he keeps trying to make me looks like a fool here are some logs on another supposed offer he got for Duncan. Sacramento can say if they really offered that, i doubt but...

And here when i turned down the deal

10/4/2009 00:28:20 vege Jordan well horford/Z/Marvin and Delonte for Duncan/Przy/Mason is a no go for me >.<

If he keep lying i will just post the entire logs so this ends for good.

The Gasol trade haven't been approved yet, if ppl think it's unfair it's their right to try to veto i guess, just this is not the right way to do it :P unless i am wrong we are suppose to e-mail our arguments for the veto to skorff26.

vege, I'm not a mod or commish or anything, but you need to let the Duncan trade go, it hasn't been mentioned in days. I was communicating with him from the beginning of this sim and that SAC deal wasn't going to happen to begin with. It was conversations AND he said they were "tepid." Tepid means the SAC GM wasn't very receptive; SAC didn't offer that deal, SAS did. Also, when did he ever have Przybilla? Przy went straight from Portland to me. I was privy to many of the offers that he received and they were pretty bad.

Also, I believe you traded Horford for Garnett VERY early in the game, so that offer wouldn't have been there by the time he got my offer. What you offered was fair, but not overwhelming. It's not his fault that nobody offered better and you can't hold it against him because you moved Horford for Garnett before Duncan was traded.

Keeping logs of conversations relating to this game is a bit odd, but posting them to get back at other GMs seems pathetic and inappropriate, especially because you could just make them up.

I'm not trying to start some beef with you, but enough is enough about this. After careful consideration, the trade was approved weeks ago.

The LA Lakers have waived Darnell Jackson and will be taking a small cap hit for the next three years totaling----450,000 / 736,420 / 854,389

The New York Knicks and Los Angles Lakers have agreed upon a trade:

Maurice Williams $8,353,000

for

Chris Wilcox $6,750,000
Nate Robinson $2,020,179
2010 2nd New York

The lakers accept as we get 2 2009 expirings for Mo Williams. Williams became expendable with the aquisation of Steve Nash. We feel Robinson will be a great sixth man of the bench for us, as well we add a quality big man in wilcox who is a pretty big expiring. With the recent fury of the trades the lakers have made we have quite dramitically cut our payroll (its between 75M-80M) which is essential in this economic crisis we are currently going through. The only contract that we have going past 2010 is Maggatee's. Though we may no longer be a contender this season we are looking to add a quality player this offseason to go along with Nash and Lebron.

Current Lineup

Nash/Fisher/Nate
Maggatee/Nate/Hughes
Lebron/Hedo/barry/hughes
Hedo/Varejao/Glen Davis
Zaza/Wilcox/Oberto/Marks

**It has come to the Lakers attention that Hedo prefers to be starting at the SF position, however he know that Lebron is the man so he has quitely asked to be dealt or if he is staying he is commited to hitting up the gym and bulking up to play the position.

Get in ur Bids now on Hedo looking for a starting PF with a short term contract, if it is a long term contract im going to be adding maggattees contract in the deal

New York accepts, while i didnt like giving up the 2010 2nd rounder, it was a necessary move to make to get a player of Mos quality for a midget and a guy who cant shoot outside of 3 feet. Also this makes losing Bibby in the offseason a non factor for me. For now Bibby will be playing the SG position.

Mo Williams/Sebastian Telfair/Stephon Marbury
Mike Bibby/Leandro Barbosa
Quentin Richardson/Brian Cardinal
Lamar Odom/Donyell Marshall/
Rasheed Wallace/Theo Ratliff/DJ Mbenga/Solomon Jones

weak at the SF but we hope to solve that problem in 2010 ;)

Ok 1st let me clarify a few things. I don't have a problem with you or your trade. I have a problem with JordanL justifying that trade using a lie including myself on it.

I couldn't care less about Duncan, I got KG and imo they have exactly the same value. I paid less for Garnett than what i offered for Duncan so i am all good with the way things worked out for me. Once again what i can't accept is JordanL lying to justify a trade and i can't accept being included in that lie.

I have all my msn logs and i don't use them (not only the game logs, every single convo on my msn so no i don't keep them and plot to use them against someone. I don't even have JordanL msn contact anymore after what he did and said i have no wish to have any contact with him again), but enough is enough JordanL need to grow some balls and stop lying to make me look like a fool. I turned down the deal, not him. He had better offers for Duncan, etc etc. If needed i will post the logs to prove it, since he keep lying over and over again and that history is old already.

The trade was approved because i couldn't ask for a veto within the proper time. I had proofs and enough arguments to veto it. By the time i realized he was lying to justify a non sense trade the trade was approved already.

As for the logs sure i could have made them up. Ask JordanL if it's fake. Like i said, enough is enough but i won't let it go as if he is the victim neither will let him repeat a lie several times trying to make it true.

Minnesota and New Jersey have announced a trade (pending other trades being approved)

Minn will send
M.Rose $7,647,500 (exp)
Ranaldo Balkman $1,369,920 / $2,112,417

to N.J. for
Sasha Pavlovic $4,696,260 / $5,142,400
Robert Swift $3,579,131 (exp)
Orlando 2009 1st (#27)

Minn picks up another pick. Balkman was not in our plans and Sasha's contract isn't guaranteed so the cap hit isn't that bad.

The Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed upon a trade.

The Pacers send Earl Watson ($6,200,000), Francisco Garcia ($1,983,453), and Ron Artest ($7,400,000) for Chris Kaman ($9,500,000), Bruce Bowen ($4,000,000) and George Hill ($1,006,200).

Pacers Outgoing: $15,583,453
Bobcats Outgoing: $14,506,200

This deal is primarily contingent on Garcia's PPP being eliminated already being traded once. If that's not the case, then the deal can be done without the Garcia/Hill swap.

Pacers accept, we were too afraid to lose Artest in FA, especially already having Iggy and Granger on the wings (not to mention, Artest and Indiana don't have the greatest relationship). Here we pick up a rather younger C that's shown he can be a double double player in the league, and can rank among the elites in terms of shot-blocking. Hill provides another young asset that we're high on and feel can contribute not only now but even more in the future.

Nets accept. We like Balkman as much as a #27 pick, and appreciate the salary savings in 09-10.

Bobcats accept

While this may not be the most balanced deal... it still helps us out a little.

Artest = cap relief but should we decide to keep him, we're confident that he'll be able to man our 2 spot.

Watson is an underrated defender and has proven to be really effective in short minutes.

Garcia is a solid shooter.

Contingent on the above deal^^^

The Bobcats and the Jazz have agreed to a trade

Bobcats send:

Ron Artest 7,400,000
Carl Landry 3,000,000
JJ Barea 1,500,000

=11,900,000

for

Paul Milsap 797,581
Matt Harpring 6,000,000
Brevin Knight 2,000,000
J Collins = 2,074,000

11.873,581

deal works

Artest was really a good fit and so we looked for pieces that made sense. We save money and get the player we wanted in Milsap.

I accept because I just woke up from a nap and he was all over me IMing me. I just wanted him to go away and this was the only thing that did it.

Artest is a great wing player that we were looking for, and the additions of Barea and Landry will serve us well. We like getting a good backup PG and a player to help get some of Millsap's minutes.

Trading of 2008-2009 salaries are over and trading is on hold until later today.

Sidenote: New York's GM has requested more time prior to the deadline and I've given it to him (he has a few last minute deals but he couldn't get them completed because of his work schedule)
