Nice analysis bryant. I disagree with your bench point for chicago somewhat, as I'm only gonna be running an 8 man rotation normally so I don't really need a super deep bench, but can't argue it too much.

Agree with everything you posted about the Spurs, bryant08, but I just wanted to add that I also acquired Mike Miller, who is a significant upgrade over Roger Mason/Keith Bogans, in my opinion.

Well, the user rankings are in.
Did you do a good job?
The following teams got a unanimous YES!
Chicago Bulls
Golden State Warriors
Miami Heat
Portland Trail Blazers
The following teams fell one vote short:
Dallas Mavericks
LA Clippers
Minnesota Timberwolvees
New Jersey Nets
Sacramento Kings
Washington Wizards
These guys did well (65-75% yes):
Boston Celtics
Milwaukee Bucks
New Orleans Hornets
New York Knicks
OKC Thunder
These guys split the vote:
Atlanta Hawks
Denver Nuggets
Houston Rockets
Indiana Pacers
LA Lakers
Philadelphia 76ers
These guys would probably lose their job: (25-35%)
Charlotte Bobcats
Cleveland Cavaliers
Detroit Pistons
Memphis Grizzlies (this one surprises me)
Phoenix Suns
San Antonio Spurs
These guys didn't do so good (<15%) - although varied circumstances for all of them:
Orlando Magic
Toronto Raptors
Utah Jazz

Sacramento Kings
- moved for Russell Westbrook, added Udoh/Thabeet/Yi/SJax
- acquistion of Westbrook really complicates things
- Not sure how a Westbrook/Evans backcourt is going to function
- A team of Thompson/Udoh/Gay/Evans/Collison would have had a much better shot in my eyes
- nonetheless high talent level, I think trading Westbrook for a dominant post player should be looked into, moving Evans to the PG spot
- nice group of young players though, Thabeet/Yi/Udoh/Cook/Westbrook were all added to the mix
- payroll is extremely manageable, can move some pieces to get cap space next season
I agree with this 100%. However, the reason that I traded Gay and Collison for Westbrook and Jackson was that Gay will be getting paid 18 million a season which is just ridiculous. With him I would have not had room to change up the team and we all know hes not worth that.
Thanks for doing the rankings, like other people said its a thankless job.

I think Gay starts out at about 12 or 13 mill and ends up at 18mill in the last year of his contract at age 28. Not disputing your point though I ended up moving Gay as well.

People really must not like Arenas and Maggette
. I am surprised the Lakers split the vote as well (there are a couple others too, but that one sticks out). Also Memphis and Cleveland that low? There was nothing that the Cavs could do to stop LeBron from leaving - and Memphis has built a great core. Other than those few teams though everything looks good.

I haven't gotten in votes in the "how did I do" category. The only ones negatively sticking out in my mind are Toronto, Charlotte, Atlanta and Phoenix. (note: that's a tally of the lower half, not saying they're all awful, just that I feel like they're not in any better position now.

Yeah, that was tough. I've struggled between putting you in the "there's nothing I could do" category with Cleveland and putting you in the Phoenix category who I felt should've gotten a better return for Nash somehow.

I'm surprised I got such bad user rankings. I guess they didn't look at the 5 first round draft picks in one year.
There's not exactly a whole lot I could've done with that team.
To Dare Is To Do? 13 League Titles. You've only got 2.

Picks three years down the road don't mean much in this game. If I were you, I would've targeted guys like Michael Redd - great fit with LeBron if you could keep him, has been a number one option, 2011 expiring. I understand it wasn't a great situation to start with. Not everyone can walk into the perfect scenario. I had Arenas to deal with.

You did have the #1 draft pick...lol. I did what I could. Cleveland didn't have much to work with. Read my pitch.

Kind of surprised I did so bad in the user rankings. I'd guess it's because people don't like Baron Davis. Eh. Oh well.
