The Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets have agreed upon a trade.

The Nuggets send Wilson Chandler ($2,130,482), George Hill ($854,389) and Al Harrington ($5,765,000) in exchange for Lou Williams ($5,000,000), Luc Richard Mbah-Moute ($854,389), Chris Douglas-Roberts ($854,389), James Harden ($4,304,520), 2011 PHI 2nd, and 2013 CHI 1st.

Bucks Outgoing/Nuggets Incoming: $11,013,298
Nuggets Outgoing/Bucks Incoming: $8,749,871 X 1.25 = $11,037,338

We HATE to do this, George Hill is one of my favorite players in the league, but Kees drove a hard bargain. I get a similarly productive player, at least on the offensive end in Lou Williams (14 PPG in 23 minutes). Chandler is a big part of our core, and we had no intention of trading him, but we like what Harden and Mbah Moute bring to the table, especially Harden who's averaging 17 PPG on 49% post all-star break. We also rid of Harrington who had no future plans with our team.

MIL accepts. Finally my persistance pays off. We feel we gave up one key piece (harden) and got 2 key pieces (chandler, hill). We have a few bad contracts already, so I don't really mind taking another one. Williams is more of a role player, while hill is a guy we can build around. Love the big three of chandler, hill and davis going forward. Nice trading, TMAC.

the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons have agreed to a deal

Detroit will send
Prince $11,147,760
Monroe $2,798,040
Det 2011 1st
totals: $13,945,800 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $17,532,250

Indiana will send
Granger $10,973,202
Dahantay Jones $2,500,000
T.Hansbrough $1,986,600
totals: $15,459,802

Indiana is sick of being stuck "in the middle" (great indiana tv show) and have decided to rebuild. We are said to see our face of the Franchise leave and want to thank him for everything he gave to the franchise. This move gives us a young building blok to play next to Hibbert and a pick which also would help. Psycho T is having a very nice season, but we would rather have a better defender and rebounder at the 4. Indiana now will have one of the lowest payrolls in the league next season which is key to out 2012 goal!

Confirmed. Sucks giving up Monroe and a pick, but Granger at his best is a top 5 SF in the league, and we plan to build around him properly. Hansbrough is a solid young PF on a great contract.

I said I wouldn't trade him, but I have to :(

Javale McGee $1,601,040
Hamady N'Diaye $473,604
for
Ed Davis $2,063,040
2011 MIL 1st (unprotected)

Salaries are close enough.

Wizards accept. I really like Ed Davis's game and his composure on the court. He'll be a solid defensive player for years to come, although it hurts to lose a legitimate center with unreal athleticism in McGee. I'm hoping that the pick pans out majorly for me as well.

MIL accepts. My persistance helps me again. We wanted a young C and this is more than what I could've asked for. McGee has extreme athleticism which will help my lineup a lot. He's still very young, and has much room to improve. His 2.4 blocks per game will anchor my D for years to come. Nice dealing.

The Hornets accept. shame to lose okafors defense but they do lose that monster contract which is a big plus whilst bringing in exp contract of krstic who is a very servicable center and smaller/shorter o'neal deal which will be an expiring next year. The icing on the cake is to add the clippers pick which could prove valuable at some stage.

Wizards accept. We wanted to start with a clean slate and moving Blatche/Lewis accomplishes that. Nick Young is having an awesome breakout season and sucks to lose him, and although Blatche is a major league talent, we're not sure Washington is going to be an environment where he can reach his potential. Rashard doesn't really have a future here, but we're excited to pick up a solid big in Bass and a talented wing in JRich who we will strongly consider re-signing.

Nuggets reluctantly accept. We think we overpay in this trade, but feel Parker is an all-star sort PG that will add a different dimension to our team. We also like what Hill brings off the bench.

The Bobcats trade:
Gerald Henderson
Joel Pryzbilla (expiring contract)
2011 First round pick (New Orleans)

The Jazz trade:
Paul Milsap
Fransico Elson

Reasoning: The Bobcats have a really good defensive team (11th overall) but they have real problems scoring (29th overall). We're barely a playoff team now and we don't exactly have a lot of trade chips to get much better fast. The challenge is to try and move the team to the next level without sacrificing the defense. So while I hated to give up Henderson and a pick I think its the right move to make. Milsap is a high motor guy who can scorer, rebound, and play D. I think he's a good fit. Plus I still have the Bobcats own first rounder to use to get a replacement at the two spot.

2011 first round draft pick from New Orleans
New Orleans' own 2011 1st round pick to Charlotte via Portland (top 7 protected in the 2011 draft, top 8 protected in 2012, top 8 protected in 2013, and top 8 protected in 2014). If Charlotte via Portland does not receive New Orleans' own 1st round pick by the 2014 NBA Draft, then New Orleans will instead send their own 2015 2nd round pick and their own 2016 2nd round pick to Charlotte via Portland [New Orleans - Portland, 10/23/2010 and then Charlotte - Portland, 2/24/2011]

Trade approved, please update your rosters.

For future reference, please post salaries. I noticed skorff did this on this occasion, in his acceptance post.

Outgoing: $16,595,250 X 1.25 = $20,744,0625 *Includes Bargs BYC.
Incoming: $20,051,591

Nuggets accept, we hate to trade Lawson and Afflalo, absolutely HATE it, but pick up two nice pieces that can move forward with our core. I know people aren't too high on Bargnani, but he has his strengths, and Bogut compliments him nicely in the frontcourt to cover his weaknesses.

Joey Dorsey needs to be included somewhere to make this fit within roster limits. I will assume this is no issue, and there are about 5 trades contingent on this. TMAC, please add Dorsey to your roster.

MIL and DAL have a trade to announce:

To MIL: Andre Miller ($7,269,264)

Total: 7,269,264 * 1.25 + 100,000 = 9,186,580

To DAL: Jose Calderon ($9,000,000)
2011 MIL 2nd
2011 CHI 2nd
2012 MIL 1st
2013 NJ 1st

Total: 9,000,000

Deal Works!

MIL accepts. Calderon was a big contract, and with Hill in MIL, we had little need for him. Miller can mentor Hill, and he is unguaranteed next year, giving me options in the FA market

I do it because that 2012 pick is likely in the lottery and in the mean-time I get a couple of chances to lesson the financial blow. Calderon is not a terrible player, he's just overpayed by about $3 to $5 million, a problem I don't think Cuban will really mind so long as one of these four picks turns into a good player.

Washington and Chicago have agreed upon a blockbuster:

Derrick Rose $5,546,160
Taj Gibson $1,117,680
for
John Wall $5,144,280
Ed Davis $1,919,160
Jordan Crawford $1,042,320
2011 ATL 1st (unprotected)

$6.66 x 1.25 = 8.33 > 8.11

Washington accepts. In the past two days I've traded both untouchables on my team, but Derrick Rose is too good to pass up. I really like Ed Davis and he's going to be a 13/10/2 big man for years to come, as well as Jordan Crawford who seems to be coming into his own as a very capable scorer. I like Taj Gibson as a hustle big and he definitely has a future in Washington.

Edit: Prior to the deal, I'll sign Joe Alexander and Ivan Johnson (both from the D-League) to minimum deals.

Why for Toronto? Well we move a similar bad deal for a slightly higher deal but pick up a prospect we really like in Larry Sanders, and another nice prospect in Marreese Speights. We feel that we need to accumulate as much talent as possible.
