The Los Angeles Lakers would like to announce the signing of Kurt Thomas. Mr. Thomas has signed a 1 year, 1.4 million dollar contract.

We feel that despite Kurts age, he is still one of the better post defenders in the league. At only 22mpg, he was able to grab 6 rpg, and almost 1 bpg. He is great insurance in the event of an injury to our frontcourt, the same way he was for Chicago this past season.

We would also like to say that we have signed Roger Mason to a 1 year 1.4 million dollar contract as well.

We felt the need to continue to improve our 3pt shooting. In addition to bringing back Sasha, we believe that adding Roger is a significant upgrade in that department.

The Lakers would also like to say that we have waived Manny Harris.

Utah Jazz are delighted to welcome back Sundiata Gaines, on a 1 year $1.3m contract.

This moment here earned him his first contract with the Jazz, and we're hoping there will be plenty more like this in the future.
