He's serious. We have one for Miller, Gremz, me, and Bryant. For some reason Bryant's doesn't have any members.

Slick Watts. We were looking for a defensive guard off the bench, and Watts brings that. We will take him in 75/76 when we has all-defensive 1st team, lead the league in steals with 3.2 SPG, and was also a very solid passer. He was 13.0/8.2/4.5/(3.2 SPG) and we are very pleased to have him leading our 2nd unit!

Re: RGM 69-78 Dynasty Keeper Draft (Snake on the Clock)
I select Randy Smith.
The more I read about this player in my research, the more I liked. A guard capable of playing either guard spot, who could be a big scorer or a facilitator.
Due to playing on the Braves, a team never known for defense, his abilities on that end were largely unsung, but he was a very strong defensive player. Additionally, for a guard he was also terrific on the glass due to his amazing athleticism and leaping ability.

Lot of different guys to choose from here, but I'll go with Zelmo Beaty.

Felt we needed a backup center, and think he's the best player left on the board. An enforcer in the paint, an ultra efficient 23 PPG scorer at his peak, and led the Stars along with Wise to an ABA championship. A terrific rebounder, and a great teammate. A bit undersized, but his large frame, and 110% effort allowed him to hold his ground against the best of them (see picture above).

He was the ultimate team player. He never wanted to do things which distracted from the game or his teammates. A fierce competitor on the court, and a voice among the silent majority off the court. He was always a leader among men. That's exactly what his Stars' teammates called him, "The Franchise." He didn't talk trash on or off the court.

"I want to make this clear. . . Zelmo could flat play!" says former rival coach Bobby "Slick" Leonard, ex-coach of the Indiana Pacers. "If you went to war against him, you better pack a lunch, because you knew your team was always going to be in a battle with him. And you knew you were going to be there awhile. He wasn't going to hide.
"He was always up for the challenge. I know our guy (Mel Daniels), who was about four years younger, learned an awful lot from him. But leave those textbooks home! "He was a banger! He was not only physically tough, but mentally tough, too," added Leonard. "But at the same time, he played the game with dignity and grace. His play demanded respect."
Pushes, shoves and holds with best in middle, and outsmarts likes of Paultz and Gilmore consistently . . . Often underrated through the years, but rated by his competitors as one of the all-time greats . . .
