DEN and ATL have a trade to announce:

DEN outgoing:
Kendrick Perkins $7,373,626
Nick Collison $3,272,997
Jonny Flynn $3,414,720
DEN 2013 1st
DEN 2014 1st
DEN 2015 1st
total: $14,061,343

ATL outgoing:
Josh Smith $13,300,000

Smith put up 17/9/3 on 1.3 steals and 1.7 blocks last season and is only 25 years old, fitting into our core nicely. He is a very good defender with offensive upside, him and Nene will do damage to opposing frontcourts.

ATl confirms.

Smith was on the trading block because we wanted Horford at PF, which made Smith expendable. Horford/Perkins is a really nice frontcourt + we get much needed depth and future assets.

good dealing.

Portland out, GS in:
Greg Oden S&T 5 years, $50M
($9.4, 9.4, 10, 10.6, 10.6)

GS out, Portland in:
David Lee$ 11,610,000

9.4 x 1.25 = 11.65 + 100k = 11.75 > 11.61

GS accepts. Huge risk, huge upside. Ode next to Love will be the best frontline in the league if healthy.

Trade accepted. Oden not nearly worth his asking price for the risk he carried. Lee is an efficient and productive player who will give you 20 and 10, especially with Deron feeding him the ball. His defensive deficiencies will be well hidden with Camby (former DPOY) and Gerald Wallace along side of him.

Raptors & Rocket Announce Deal
Toronto Raptors have moved combo Guard Jerryd Bayless to the Houston Rockets for Rookie Donatas Montiejunas. This move improves both teams in positions of need and Houston loves the work ethic and instant offense Bayless has demonstrated. He has continue to improve in all aspects of the game.

Since Both teams have Cap space, Bayless' salary of $3,042,280 for Montiejunas' $1,170,000 can be absorbed under the provisions of the new CBA.

Toronto accepts. I know it looks like I am hording post prospects, if you're operating under that assumption, you'd be right. I am not a huge fan of Bayless, and Donatus is a special prospect.

Trade #31:

Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns have reached the agreement:

Suns send:

Hakim Warrick $4,250,000.
Aaron Brooks $4,000,000

TOTAL: $8,250,000

Magic send:

Mike Miller $5,400,000
Chris Duhon $3,500,000
Daniel Orton $1,105,560
And 2012 2nd round pick (ORL).

TOTAL: $10,005,560

The difference in salary is about 1.75 millions and Phoenix has enough money under the salary cap, so deal works. It would work even if PHX wasn't under the cap, because 8,250,000 * 1.25 + 100k = $10,412,500 and $10,412,500 > $10,005,560

Orlando does it, because i'm not a big fan of Duhon. And i feel that Mike Miller is slightly overpaid too. Of course, loosing 2nd rounder, getting Hakim’s contract and loosing Orton doesn't feel good, but i like what Brooks will bring to my team.

Phoenix accepts this. They get a nice shooter in Miller (little overpaid), a nice defense minded PG, who will fit in their rotation and a nice young prospect in Orton for two players that they don't really need.

Total rebuild in Boston. Lopez is a nice building block and we get an additional pick.

Boston, look at the first page of the discussion thread or the first post of the roster topic for how to format your roster page. This trade is not approved because of issues with your roster - get it updated and repost this trade.

MIA sends:
Jameer Nelson $7,800,000
Kevin Martin $11,519,840
Total:$19,319,840

HOU sends:
Andre Miller - $7,807,728 (TO) N/A
Marcus Morris - $1,566,900
Chuck Hayes - $4,000,000
Courtney Lee - $2,225,093
HOU 2012 1st

Total: 15,599,721

HOU has 11M in cap space, so he can absorb the extra salary. We do this because we get young depth and a good vet in andre. we also get a draft pick! martin's 3 will be missed greatly, but we hope thornton can step it up. Good Dealing, HOU.

I guess I have to apologize again, Hayes was just resigned and so you must wait a week to trade him. I am sending out an email to ensure that everyone knows this, people must have browsed over it in the free agency thread.

This has been edited due to the 5 day waiting rule for signing FA: I will hold onto Jameer while HOU holds onto Marcus Morris and Chucky Hayes since Hayes was resigned less than 5 days ago. When 5 days have been up, we will re-swap these 3 players to complete this deal. Salaries for players in the first part works because he'd get 2M extra, then salaries in the 2nd part still work because HOU has the cap room to take the additional 2.2M on Jameer afterward). Either way, HOU can take on the total of 4.2 M extra salary because HOU has ~8M in cap total.

Houston confirms the amended Trade 18 as noted above. The full transaction will be completed on Wednesday after the waiting period for Chuck Hayes. The initial signing suggested this S&T deal was being developed, but Hayes was not a RFA and this was a misunderstanding. This will correct all trades to comply with the rules of this game.

We agreed to a trade we just didn't post it yet because the Blazers GM hasn't updated his roster and want's to make sure the trade getting Felton goes through.

Trade accepted, sorry for the delay. I work crazy hours and can't always update immediately. Roster is updated. This really gives us an edge in winning now. Ray Allen just came off a career year, and even though he is old, he is still crushing it. Worst case scenario he is an expiring if he is no longer able to bring it.

Roddy is on the Celtics. He was involved in the Garnett trade.

Roddy Beaubois ($1,236,720)
Avery Bradley ($1,524,480)
NJ 2012 1st unprotected

Total: $24,008,244

24,008,244< 1.25*$19,170,260+$100,000 = $24,062,825 so salaries work!

We don't like losing Rubio because he'd be a great apprentice to CP3, but he won't get many minutes, so we thought Roddy would be a better fit as backup. KG is the Defensive Conductor on the court and compliments cp3 and lbj very nicely. He will pair with Hayes in the front court very well and mentor marcus morris as well! We also get a pick! Great dealing, BOS!

For what it's worth. Seems like Beaubois is in South Beach.
