Ok, I am yet again confused. I get Roy wanted to got to Dallas, that team just won the title. But Lewis to the Clipps I am yet again surprised on. He's already making like 22M from his old contract, so a difference of 3.5M per year won't make a huge difference to him, because he's already one of the leagues highest paid players.

The Clipps won 32 games last year, 13th out of 15 in their conference. The team has not made a move yet this game, and the franchise has had a history of doing poorly, as they have made the playoffs 4 times in their 27 year history in LA.

Portland won 48 games last year, 6th out of 15 in their conference. They have made the playoffs 3 years running, and have had success in the past (2 finals appearances in the early 90's, 2 WCF's appearances in the early 00's). Plus, my team has gotten better in the now, bringing in the best PG of the past 5 years, former 6th man of the year who had one of his best seasons last year, and a proven #1 option on a playoff team in LMA who is only 25. I also guaranteed him 30 MPG on my team as a starter.

I'm not trying to be a complainer, but I am honestly wondering why Lewis, 32 years old, would want to go to a young team, who won't be competitive for AT LEAST 1-2 years, compared to a team that is young enough, but ready to compete now. I just don't understand this.

Arenas is making like $20m, and would opt to go to the Kings rather than Miami for a few hundred k? :-?

And when is Dalembert for signing? I can't even make a serious MLE offer to a nice wing until I at least try for Sammy lol.

Busy agents sometimes make imperfect decisions. Like the opting out of a 10 mil contract for a MLE one. Or having to use cap space to sign a RFA in 48 hrs because there are Tiers. Or a player leaving a contender, that is 100 miles from where he grew up to make 15 mil less and pay 30 mil more in taxes for a non playoff team because his role is " undefined". We win some lose some in free agentcy.

IMO having amnesty players act as FA's rather than just going to the highest bidder not only made things less realistic but added a lot of work and arbitrary decisions for Karamloop.

Yeah. It also fills FA with a LOT of minimum-level vets. Not really, complaining... but yeah.

Sorry guys, I've been swamped today and I didn't think I'd be. Also forgot to add that Stuckey and Thornton is a RFA so Detroit and Sacramento have 48 hours to match.

PG Rodney Stuckey (RFA) - Wizards for four years, 29.5 million
SG Marcus Thornton (RFA) - Clippers for four years, 32 million (8 million per year flat)
SG Arron Afflalo (RFA) - Nets for four years, 25 million
SG Jamal Crawford - Miami for two years, 4.4 million
SF Grant Hill - Portland for three years, 12 million
PF Kris Humphries - Houston for four years, 24 million
PF Carl Landry - Memphis for four years, 20.5 million

The Pistons, Kings, and Nuggets have 48 hours to match their offers.

How would the BAE contract for Jamal Crawford look?

And can we trade signed FAs?

Thanks.

2.2 million per year. And not until we're done doing tier FA.

On top of that, they just re-signed Gasol, not a chance they can afford Landry.

When Denver matches this offer for Afflalo, is he still available for sign and trade?

Nuggets GM should have sent you, Karmaloop, an e-mail about Arron Afflalo's sign and trade.

Shockingly low $$ for Afflalo. Was his agent stupid or did no one make offers as it was assumed Denver would match?
