No take back bids, once you post it, it is an official offer. So HOU still offers min to what they originally posted, and same for anyone else.

So i can't match Spree's offer for Delonte? :O
Why? Where's the logic?
In case i can, i offer West a mini-MLE.

Delonte West isn't a RFA, and it's a bidding process. Goes to the highest bidder.

I know. I saw my last bid got beat, so i increased it... I thought that's how it works..
If i knew the rules before, i would have offered more at once.

last tier FAs were only one year deals. others mentioned that when you signed them, but i didn't see you reply to those posts so you might not have seen them. i think karma, SamBone and Kees all mentioned something.
Denver bids on:
Mehmet Okur - 2 years $2M, $2M
Josh Howard - 1 year, vet min
Ersan Ilyasova - 2 years $2M, $2M

Can we make everything one-year deals? I'm sure most of these guys wouldn't sign, say, a 4-year deal or a long-term contract worth very little.

I would say that for minimum deals, but there's still people with cap space that can offer a real lucrative contract...it looks better when your final roster isn't halfway filled with just 1 year rent-a-players...it looks more like a team when they are locked in semi-long term.

Baron Davis
Cap Source: Partial MLE
2,000,000
2,050,000
2,100,000
2,150,000
Baron Davis is capable of exploding, once healthy we will look to play him in a variety of roles and a couple of positions. Playing on ball and distributing, and playing off ball with Tony Parker and getting plays run through him to get scores. We think he'd be a great energy guy to have on our roster.
Greg Oden
Cap Source: Partial MLE
3,000,000
3,135,000
3,270,000
3,405,000
We'd really like to take a chance on Greg, we understand he's had a big injury plague. But we believe with a new change of scenery, and easing him into his minutes can be really good for his development and reaching his potential in the NBA. He has a great skill set and we're willing to offer him the partial mle and a good role for about 18 minutes off the bench depending on how well he plays and how his body is feeling he might eventually get more minutes leading to the starting spot.

Isn't this a bidding process? 24hours ( I think) for a highest offer to hold before player is yours.

Kyle Korver, 2 years @ $2M/year (part of MLE, or part of mini-MLE if I go back over tax level before this is decided).
